Whatamess you have certainly been through it but you have come through or are coming through. You are one strong chick! You have to keep that in mind. Everytime I break down I think about the fact that I have been through more in my 29yrs than some go through in a life time and it really has made me or is making me stronger. I would never have started a thread like this a few years ago because I would have been afraid to tell/share my true feelings or admit that I am lonely etc. I truly believe everything happens for a reason even though the reason can be b***** hard to find at times.
I have also made a little progress I went along to a dance group because I used to love dancing. It is (don't laugh) bellydancing. I was so nervous and so worried about what people would say so I have only told my immediate family. The exercise is gentle as I am still not that fit or as fit as I used to be after the pacemaker and muscles not strong enough for anything wow etc but it felt good to do something and I found I was quite good at picking up the routines. I even made a little small talk and although they will never be coffee/wine chat people it has given me something to work on.
If I can do it anyone can.
Has anyone else made any progress?
    Take care x

    Bunny's bay tree.

Feeling fine. The tree reminds me of the bunny and makes me smile.
Put the herbs beside it to stop the kids running through the little tree and breaking it.

    Bingo....I have a 13 years old too

Got up late as OH didn't sleep (he's making up for it now) so he did the kids this morning and let me lie in and made me breakfast. He can be very sweet.:D

been sitting here waiting for the windscreen repair man. Late as per usual.

Talk later..bit of a cat on hot tin roof when waiting for someone to arrive. Just can't settle.

Zombiecass - that is lovely :) A good, lasting memory.

wannabe - :j :j congratulations on going to the dancing class - that sounds like a lot of fun :) The positive thing I have done today is complete an application form for another job, away from my OH who works where I do. Any more news on a meet up? I'm up your way for Jools Holland if you fancy meeting that w/e?

whatamess - when I'm feeling low I try to focus on the annoying things about ex-OH, makes me feel a bit better :o Gosh, you have had a difficult time, so ((((hugs)))) to you. You must be such a strong person, even if you don't feel it at times! The sea AND Primark!! Lucky you :) My closest Primark is by the sea in the English Riviera

Great, positive thread, thanks all :)

Ooh a trip to Primark - you know how to make me happy!! What about the Sunday (9th) - would that suit you? Or is Saturday easier. I love the idea of a MSE trip to Primark :rotfl: :rotfl:

The job is at a college down in the deepest parts of the South West. At present I'm being asked to reapply for my own job (restructuring). But, my job is v. full on already (stress related panic attacks in last 6 months) and they have changed my job roll to do that and half of my line managers job!! All my friends say I have been 'shafted' (oops...a bit rude) as my line manager hasn't had any work added to make up for what has been taken away!! Also my recent (gosh, 6 weeks already) ex-OH is starting work where I am in Sept.

Life certainly knows how to throw lots of stuff at you sometime, doesn't it ;)

But being on here with you lot keeps me smiling

Windscreen repair man finally arrived. He said he'd be with me shortly. To me shortly is five 10 minutes. To him it was 30 - 45 minutes. All very subjective.
Apparently it'll take an hour to fix.

So what plans do we have for the week.
I'm meeting up with a fellow worker to go over our Knowledge skills framework tomorrow at lunch.

I'm away to Dundee for a workshop with other people across scotland who do a similar job to myself.

Going to do my best to fiddle my money around so that I can pay my CC at the end of the month.

Try not to buy anymore groceries this week. Therefore stick to menu plan.

Do my best to advise and help of MSE'ers as much as possible

    How about you?

    Sunday 9th sounds grand Mushypeas
Anyone else up for an MSE trip to Primark in Southampton - what can I say it is the teacher in me, i won't make you hold hands in pairs though unless you want to of course.
Job sounds good. There is nothing worse that undue stress or being unhappy as we are all learning eh! What do you actually do or is it a bit like a Chandler in Friends job??

let me know how you get on

Ooh, a bit nervous now wannabe :) Hopefully we can encourage others! Maybe it's the teacher or oldest sister of a bunch of siblings that brings out the 'make sure you bring a drink, umberella and cardi' in me :rotfl:

I'll save my pennies for a Primark spend. When I was in London the other weekend (catching up with old friends who love me for who I am :) ) I spent a whole £7 on two bags!!! Shocker ;) I love Primark (Ok...maybe I need to get out a bit more often).

Do you fancy grabbing lunch on the Sunday as well? We could packed lunch it or go for a Weatherspoons special? I don't mind either way.

If only my job was as interesting as Chandlers...I'm a departmental co-ordinator at a local FE college.

zombiecazz - you sound like you have a good weekend planned. I'm off to see Take That :o

About to tackle my job application form *sigh*

Take that - I am so jealous
I will have to play the cd on the way home now!!!
