Hi all
I can't believe what I started. Thanks to all of you for being so open and honest.
We are all normal as far as I can tell but like lots of you have said, it is not right to feel like this. I don't have three heads but I wonder why I don't have or would like friends to have a bit of fun with, the odd drinkie etc. I am really enjoying e mailing some of you via pm - thanks. Please feel free to pm me it is great to have 'contact' with others and really does reasure that we are normal and deserve to be happy.
Big hugs and love to all
p.s please don't do what I did - we are not 'sad' and we must stop thinking it
(Hope this doesn't sound sickly)0 -

It is helped cheer me up.:T
When you are feeling down and lonely it seems as if everyone else in the country is having fun, socialising, meeting friends.
This thread has shown that lonely people are not alone there are lots of us even people with apparently busy lives.

you are so right. When you watch tv and see films etc you are under the impression that the rest of the world is having a ball. I know you shouldn't believe the movies etc but we are all human. This thread has really got me thinking. I wasn't particulary feeling sorry for myself I don't think, I just wanted to change my life and as it all seemed to be going @@@@ up. I want to truly smile rather than a smile for effect. It is just really hard to know what to do to make the changes. I have tried the self help books (please don't let me be alone on this) I feel all decisive and ready for action and then think HELP!
It is scary to know that I am one of many lonely people - this sounds spookily like a Beatles number!
Keep smiling all0 -
We have all bought them and read them and continued to be ourselves. Just very human! I do think writing thoughts down like this is cathartic and fascinating. Sometimes I think this sort of communication is far more honest than any other.
OOh being deep again!!;)
Keep smiling along with us!!

We can be more honest here than anywhere. We can say what we think/feel without pitying looks, comments about pull your socks up, `whats up with your face chewed a wasp` etc... No one (well there is the odd one) judges people just gives (((((((hugs))))))) and advice.
Crikey hark at me getting all deep and philisophical:rotfl:

glad to hear that everyone is feeling a bit more positive and having some making a few virtual friends. Haven't posted here in a while as I've been having some crap luck.
Big crack on car windscreen.
Death of family bunny.
Broken down washing machine.
Fortunately due to all the goodwill and helpful advice here at the forum. I have managed to get car fixed and still remain with my car insurance provider for a lot less than their initial renewal quote.
I held my washing machine seller to the sale of goods act and got their agreement that they would fix it for free for me.
to celebrate the bunnies life I bought a reduced bayleaf tree from Tesco Down from £22 to £9. So Bunny was buried under the bayleaf tree.
Still don't have any sort of social life, but been feeling good about myself with all the money saving I've been doing. You never know if my OH manages to get a job I could be debt free
keep up the good chatting.
I was thinking about joining some kind of womens group, but I just don't think I'm cut out for it.
Maybe we should all hook up to msn messenger or similar and set aside some time every so often for a chat? has anyone tried this? I'm a bit of a tekkie, but this free chat stuff has always given me the wi****s. My shyness again.:o"A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0 -
So sorry about all your bad luck and the rabbit. I am going to bed now but will be on in the evenings if you want to chat on here or messenger.
I understand how horrible it is to loose a rabbit lost mine a few years ago.
Keep going.
Hugs, until tomorrow night,

Can't sleep too worried. Funny how you don't realise you are worried until you try to sleep.

Morning! ridiculous `o` clock to be up but hey slept in twice last week and was nearly late for work.
Know what you mean about joining a womens group dont think I am cut out for one of them either, am not a girly type of woman.
Asked my soon to be ex hubby (by email) if the grass was as green as he thought it was going to be, response, more like parched earth, oh dear that is a shame, `not`.
As my gran used to say `you make your bed you lie in it`.
You managed to get any sleep cg.
