Well I am in the same boat - just ended a two year relationship (some of you may have seen me posting on Debt Free Wanabee - my ex has £35k of debt and thought drinking would provide the answer !) I know I have done exactle the right thing but I REALLY miss the company aspect,
I have never been one to have a huge circle of friends but the good ones I have are all in relationships and as usual their OH's are their priority - I was exactly the same so can't criticise.
It is difficult to find new friends but just wanted to say how much I value everyone on this site - you may not be there to have a beer or a coffee with face to face but I am happy to settle for a virtual chinwag on here.
Anyone in the NE ? (I live in Sunderland).

My Brother and his wife live nearby with my niece and nephew so I have option of seeing them but sometimes I feel like I am intruding ! Was a bit p'd off earlier as I went around about six o'clock and my niece (5 yo) says I m off to the theatre aunty , turns out my Sis In Law got two tickets yesterday to go and see the Jungle Book and never thought to even ask if I wanted to go. Probably being a but oversensitive as things are a bit raw from splitting up but I would have loved to have gone,
Ok moan over
PS Grace is out hurrah0 -
Hello All,
Feeling quite good today - OH had an interview (in Bath but doeable from here) and I spent the day with mini-bun at the swings and with him playing nude in the paddling pool in the garden, which was lovely. Also gearing myself up to get a part time job (bit awkward to fit in childcare-wise etc, but trying not to talk myself out of it as it will do me the world of good). Oh, and we had a young fox in our garden this evening!
Careful Girl - the asthma is much better now thanks, it's only taken a couple of months to control which is good. I do have allergy tests but it's not looking like I'm allergic to my beloved cats thankfully.
Wannabe - sorry you've had a bad week, hope next week is better!
I'm off to bed now, but hope everybody has a good weekend!

Have already done the new job bit - start on the 10th of July ...
Hmmmm new car sounds good , something totally impractical like a two seater soft top or something !!!!
Planning on treating myself tomorrow , been on a diet for a bit and need some new clothes for new job.
Might get a boob job .... is that radical enough ??0 -
