I am not a first time poster on here as you can see but I saw this thread and decided to use them after collecting all broken jewellery up.

My estimate was 28 grams which included a small battered gold watch complete with mechanism. I sent it off special delivery on Monday but it did not get delivered until today because of the weather and backlog (royal mail are not guaranteeing any special delivery arriving the next day!!) but by 10.30 this morning I received an amount of £277.16 paid direct to my account. I cannot fault the service and also I did call yesterday too and was answered straight away. (it was mentioned in this thread that no-one can get through on the phone line). All in all 10/10 for their service and prices compared to the ones that send you a post bag to fill at their cost. Well done Hatton Garden Metals. Keep up the good efficient work.:T:T:beer:

Excellent Service. Easy to use site and kept informed at every stage. I was very wary about sending items through the post but sent items special delivery yesterday morning and the money was in my account by lunch time today and received the amount quoted. Very pleased would recommend to anyone and will definiately be using in the future.

After months of thinking about it, I sent a package to Hatton Garden Metals yesterday and received what I expected in my bank account today. Absolutely brilliant!!

Great service, sent my stuff on a Friday, they confirmed they got it on the Monday and payment was showing in my bank account on the Tuesday, got exactly what I was expecting from their valuation too!

Used them today, gold arrived and amount was in my bank account by the afternoon. Got over £170 for some old broken chains etc. Very impressed

does anyone know if you are limited to what you can send the amont of gold does it say any amount on the forms? Has anyone regularly sent in gold a few times?

I posted my gold yesterday 21st Dec 2010, received e-mail this morning 22nd Dec. (well done Royal Mail in this weather!) Hatton Garden Metals have paid into my bank the full amount for my gold based on todays gold prices. I had weighed the items and my calculation matched theirs.
Excellent company who keep you informed all the way through the transaction.
I used this company around 2 years ago and was delighted with their service, I highly recomend them, my local Jeweller offered to pay much less.
Be sure to remove any stones you wish to keep before sending in your gold. They clearly state, these will be broken and are not returnable.
