Hi Chris
You have inspired me (or shamed me!) into working how much I really owe on credit cards and think it will be approx £34kI am equally sick of the total misery this causes & although it's going to be incredibly tough I want to really challenge myself to get this debt down so I can enjoy life again! Like you I also hammered credit cards at uni & how I wish I hadn't!! Also wish they han't been as easy to get as a bag of sweets though!
As a total newbie (joined about 5 mins ago!) I'm not sure how this all works really, but please can I be added to your list?!
Much courage to all you brave debt banishers...... :T

Hi all,
I'm brand new here and having been made redundant last year my debts, despite taking advice etc are now starting to cause me sleepless nights so it's time to start giving them a big kick so I'd like to try and get in on this one, I'm aiming for a 10K overpayment this year as a minimum.
Not quite sure how I'll do it but I'm determined to try and thought this would be a great place to start
