    Debt-free and Proud!
Know how you feel, same just happened to us, oh in 30 day consultation period now for his job that was meant to be safe for 4 years but has only just got to one and a half! Compnay shutting a plant so lots of job losses. I don't work at moment as 2 little ones youngest of which isn;t even 1 yet, and oh quite traditional in that sense but have found out that if I register s/e selling on ebay then I am eligable to claim wtc in my own right....I sell on ebay, not as a business though, only sell bits and bobs of our own family castoffs but may be worth stepping up a gear and doing it properly?! I think the thought of working for myself for 16 hours a week is better than going back to a waged job for same amount of hours, esp when we are lacking in childcare

Oh no Im sorry! Im lucky I suppose that its just us, no children, pets or elderly relations to support. I hope Mr Plum finds something new soon.

Well this month is looking less prommising than it was. I've just realised my car tax is due, I've got the dentist on Wednesday and I've got to take one of my rats Midge to the vet tonight because he's pawly. I hate all my rattys being so old :(
Bur on the bright side I've earned a £20 Amazon voucher writing DVD reviews online :) Can't decide weather to redeem it or keep saving so I can buy myself something special...

Grrrr!!! Just got a lovely mail from my credit card provider to say my interest rate is going up to 27%!!! Surely that's not allowed when I pay every month like clockwork. Why aren't they busy hasselling the people who don't bother paying instead of trying to squeeze extra money out of the ones that do!!!

Nothing to report on debt payments from me but we have at last booked a honeymoon! (Married last October)

Was very pleased to pay the £546 deposit out of my savings, no credit spending for a change. :j Just need to save the rest now . . .:o
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...
