  • Don't buy bulbs if you want a sure chance of them succeeding!

Balloons - £1 in Poundland but 78p in Tesco.
Wouldn't trust the 2 for £1 pregnancy tests either (not that I've tried them)

£1 pick & mix is great though - it's £3.99 in the video shop

I have tried the pregnancy tests and they DO work!

Paracetamol. 3 boxes of 16 for a pound, while they are 14p a box in Wilkinson or even 28p a box in the supermarket.

are they legallu allowed to sell 3 fro £1?
In supermatkets/chemists etc they only allowed to sell 2 paracetammol containing products per person so why can £1 shops sell more than this?
  • There's a "what TO buy" forum - where's the link for it?
  • I know this is the wrong thread but a while back Poundland had Belkin USB cables there (£24.99 at PC World). I bought 10 and sold them on ebay for £10 each LOL. They also have Xerox DVD's atm, £1 for 5 in jewel cases,,,,bargain!

The car bulb sets are too dim for headlights. I now buy Ring car headlight bulbs from Wilkinsons (around £4 I think) or from Trago Mills when I am in Devon (around £2-£3 a couple of years ago).
  • Don't buy Blu Tack in Poundstretcher. It cost me £1 only to find it's 63p in Asda

Obscurely branded and oddly flavoured crisps. A six pack for £1 is not a bargain.
