sounds like the xbox 360 saga again - people will buy loads of these in bulk and sell them £1200+ on ebay - and people will buy them.

i was going to buy one on day of release but i will NOT be paying £550 for it! i dotn think its worth it. the PS2 when it came out was £250 - xbox 360 £330 PS3 £550?! thats just 2 much imho. Ill be going for the xbox 360 £280 atm - wireless.

Was tempted by the PS3....but then found out the price. Very strongly inclined to wait a while. When it does come out I'll have far more important things to worry about.

Gamestation and Dvd.co.uk have already done there pre orders.

Gamestation had the console only for £425 (60GB HDD version) this is the expected RRP.

There will be a cheaper version (20GB HDD) too but this will be delayed in the uk (RRP £350) this will not have all the features of more expensive one. (like Xbox did with there machine).

Other website site are gearing up to do there pre orders shortly.

Play only started yesterday. So best get in early.

ARGHHH!!!

Buy a PC .... PC has much better games, can be better graphics if you buy a good PC (for the same price as this thing) ... and can be used for soo much more!

I'm ready for all you console fan boys :P

hmm, right, x1900xt £250quid (same as xbox360) prob be better again in ps3
amd64 3200+ £90
1gb ram £40
dvdrw £30
case keyboard etc £50
blu ray drive £500 or writer £822
= £950

if they can put windows on it bring out a keyboard, there wont be much point of pc anymore, do custom printer usb drivers, would get u a cheap powerful pc.

People would have to be mad to buy one straight away imo. I got the PS2 as soon as they come out and we (like a lot of other people) had to send ours back to sony because of all the faults.

The price (whether rrp or double on ebay) is astronomical.

pc would put any console into oblivion since consoles are based on pc technology except pc's are always one step ahead of the game
