You should ask for LHA/ HB and JSA to be backdated on the grounds that you have only been made aware that you are no longer entitled to IB today. Keep the envelope with the postmark on it, just in case they get pedantic with dates!

At the JCP, it would be worth asking to see a Disability Employment Advisor, or even getting a referral to Work Directions. They will have access to additional resources that will help you back to work.

Good luck in your search. Not sure where you are in Notts, but I know that boots.com are recruiting for temporary call centre staff if that appeals? ;)

Yep, they don't fast track as such, but it will certainly help that they already have all your details! Do you know if you will be claiming income or conts based JSA? Have you been asked to take any documents with you?

i have been asked to take p45 etc, but the lady said dont worry they wont expect that because i have already been claiming esa.

i have been off work for around 10 months claiming esa if that helps, because i dont know which i will be claiming

    and just my passport

If you have them handy, I would take three months bank statements with you. You shouldn't really need them, but you might get someone that can't follow the logic shown by the person on the phone!
