See your point Fearless...but the threat of bad publicity is always a useful one in your armoury.
If the bad publicity hand is already played at the start though, then Index have nothing to lose.
What would be the point in them considering trying to satisy the customer if the customer has already vented his spleen?
The object of pr is to satisfy before it gets to that stage so that the bad publicity is avoided. :-/
Of course if they continue to take the same stance and refuse to consider supplying the/a printer, then I shall be first with the bad review!
Give things a chance first though?Herman - MP for all!0 -
That is a fair point - agreed - Hold fire gang and let's be canny and savvy about this one...
I'm sure that there must be a few people at Index reading this post - so this message is just for you...
Blow the whistle on this whole sordid affair! Go on to Watchdog, they'll protect your identity and give you a squeaky voice so no one will know who you are and you can be the 'Champion of the People'! ;D
... Methinks I am getting too caught up in this frenzy! :-)0 -

Exactly my thoughts, it's should be a waiting game for the mo.
It is all stacked up well in our favour, what's the panic? Index will despise us soon if we get malicious and any chance of goodwill may vanish0 -

u say 'the ball is in index's court' but they are littlewoods and there is absolutely nuffin they will do. They have taken money from u and unless u fight for weeks on end u wont see a penny of it back. Sitting back and waiting for some miracle is going to get u nowhere. At the moment they dont care about u, they dont care about what is on this board, they dont care about letters sent to them.
Ive been here before, i was billed for items at twice the price I had on my order confirm from them. I still havent had the money back and this was in october. And not a single day goes by that I dont either write them a letter of complaint recorded delivery or phone them.0 -
