They had a 'that's just tough' attitude and are not in least concerned about customer satisfaction. Respect is a two-way street, but I feel that Index are happy to ride roughshod over customers with regard to this and that bugs me.....it's just not fair.

That's what spurred me on to write to WDog, because I never would have considered it before joing this forum. :o

Good luck and well put! ;)

Still think it's a blast - even more so since my other half thought the memory stick thing was worth keeping lol. I had to remind him I didn't order a memory stick thing ;D )

Does anyone know what 110-085 in the catalogue comes up instore, since there claiming its a USB flash, although it doesnt make sense why you would advertise that product  on page 362 of the digital processing, development and accessories section.

As I posted earlier, I checked in two Index shops on Friday morning, and 110-085 did come up as a Freecom 64Mb USB device on the stock-checker, though out-of-stock.

Interestingly the Index CS people say they have no printers to send out, yet there are plenty in the retail stores. Just try the click-and-reserve facility for 110-185, and you'll see that many of their outlets have them for sale.

Maybe we could suggest they transfer stock from the shops to the mail-order division?

Sofa_Sogood - you can buy a similar product from Ebuyer for as little as £6.99 delivered. I wouldn't accept this at £19.99 even if it's from a brand name - you're being ripped off big time.

Quick suggestion: On Pricerunner (I'm not sure about other Shop-Bots like Kelkoo) but you can rate retailers.... need I say any more about what you can say about Index! Go forth and multiply!!!!

I've gotta put my hands up now, because I was saying it's not the end of the world, however, the I'm beginning to feel the impact of the frenzy now.

Give Index what they have coming to em!!! I'd personally like to send in an angry John McKerrick (from Celeb Big Brother) in his nappy to their offices and demand a printer and a diet coke (for himself).... (If you don't watch Celeb BB then this paragraph will have been wasted....) :-)

    Give em hell people!

What was the price of this USB???  All i can say is they obviously were going to reduce the printer anyway but obviously used the product code on p362 which incidently was coded incorrectly, there fault not ours.  Instead of the code 118-185.

So the question we should be asking index, irrespective of code, the printer was reduced, you the store reduced it so why arent you honouring it!!

Thanks biglugs. If I had a printer I'd print it out and show him. ;)

Instead I'll copy and paste it to notepad and leave it on the desktop.

Thanks again (because to be honest - I probably would have kept the bloody thing too :o )
