Waited in all day so I could refuse delivery of the "printer" nothing came.
At 5:45 I had to go get my daughter from netball, guess what was through the letterbox when I returned 20 mins later.... yes you got it, a "printer"

They must have been waiting around the corner for me to leave...paranoid or what ::)

In alot of the emails back from index they claim order number error but they told me last night that this printer was a price drop but has now sold out???????

Received my two 'printers' today through the letterbox and first thing I did tonight when I got in was to phone Index to complain.They seem to be well versed now on what to tell their customers and basically said to me that it was an error on the website and the wrong picture/cat nr had been loaded too ::)
I didn't argue with her too much cos I knew it was gonna fall on deaf ears...
I told her to arrange collection for Friday in the hope that I am in at the time so will watch to see what happens with this thread in the meantime.I'm gonna make these b@stards work now to collect these memory bars that's for sure!!!! lol

Unfortunately, the claim on the Index website is outside of our remit as the ASA has no jurisdiction over claims made on advertisers’ own sites.

However, you mention that you have seen the same item in the Index catalogue.

Would it be possible for you to forward the page that includes the advertisement for me please?

I think they're expecting the catalogue page to display the £19.99 price.

I know its a long shot so please no sarcastic coments!
Is it worth asking other forums if anyone has bought the printer at full price using the the code from the catalogue. It would prove that it was just a pricing error and not an incorrect item code on their web site and Index are just trying it on by sending the memory sticks

I still can't understand how Index can send us something that they don't even sell.
