    Morning all,

Inspired by the FL challenge to go and start ds2's room as the men from Argos are delivering the new bed sometime after 12 and I still have to empty the drawers in the bottom of his old bed and have a general throw out in there.

Also need to do some baking - made the breadcrumb cookies from the TWG - great but they disappeared at the speed of light and have had my arm twisted to make another batch.

Has a very OS outing yesterday - took the French student to the Giant's Causeway and had an OS picnic in the pouring rain - sharing a cave type thing with 2 bemused Australians. I offered them a cocktail sausage - but they left soon after - hope they weren't veggie or anything!:D

Dinner - gammon with apricots, new potatoes, courgettes etc

    Morning all,

So much for me joining in the OS thread each day. This is the first time I've been able to post since last Sunday, as I haven't had an internet connection for days!

I'm working from home today and have got loads to do, so not too sure how much time will be spent old styling today. That said, the dishwasher went on overnight and BF emptied it this morning. First load of washing (I know it's gone 10am, so it's a very late first load of washing!) is ready to hang out and second load is ready to go into the machine. We had family to stay over the weekend, so have got extra sets of bedding to wash.

I spent quite a bit of time in the garden last week (my first ever attempt at ever growing and nurturing!) and the bit of rain we had seems to have made everything shoot up by about 2 inches! Things are starting to flower now so there's a bit of colour around, but still only two yellow flowers on six tomato plants . Don't know what I'm doing wrong there

Right, off to hang the washing out now and then really really must start some work!!

Good luck to all FL people out there. I look forward to reading about your progress.

    Nic

Morning all..............((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) to those who need them.

very bad night, woke at 2.15am with OH wriggling and thrashing about, was still awake at 6.00am, did manage a couple of hours snooze, but woke when he got up at 8.15, went down and had my brekkie and then came back to bed for an hour.

I have cleaned the bathroom and bedroom, just have to collect the hoover from downstairs and do the carpets, and use the dusting brush on the walls on the staitrs, then I can hoover the stairs and tackle the sitting room DH is out, will be back around 12, so want to get finsihed before he arrives, guess when I finally get downstiars he will have washed the pots and left them on the draining board ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!! drives me crazy, still at least he washes up.

SS came yesterday with cards and piccys of the new baby CAMERON YAY!!!!! we have not been to see him because we had this virus but maybe will manage at the weekend. I gave him a list of things that need looking at in the house, ie, the landing, bathroom and bedroom windows, the kitchen floor and kitchen units..... no comment..... so will wait and see what happens........ he did show us photos of his new house, no expense spared there!!!!!

Cold chicken for supper tonight.............I did not freeze the soup as it was much cooler yesterday so we will finish it off at lunchtime today.

Its a funny morning keeps clouding over as if its going to rain, we had about 4 spots last night OH was in the kitchen came in to tell me it was raining, by the time he went back it had stopped!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right off to get the hoover and finish off up here, will then allow myself a drink before I tackle the stiars......................

    Have a good day.....................

Going to visit my dad at 12.15 and see the mcmillan nurse for the first time.

Trying to get an ambulance booked for Thursday so he can see the hospital consultant.

DDs and I had bacon butties as a brunch and DH had poached egg on toast.

Microwave seems to have expired so need a new one!

Frankly if I get anything doner today I will be amazed - good luck to everyone else.

    Hello everybody,

Lucky I'm not doing the FL challenge. I wouldn't be able to keep my eyes open :D and I do need my beauty sleep. Still raining here. Called the dr's and he asked me to come in today. Too many white cells in my wee wee :p so had to do another one. Results come in on Thursday. But I feel I'm on the mend so fingers crossed.

Made a spinach pie for tea & lemon sago & custard for dessert. I could have left it on a little longer, but tastes nice. Plans for tonight, watch Cold Case & retire to bed with Agatha Christie & hot water bottle. :D DH at work.

Thriftmonster - Yes, you did do a big no no. It's extremely bad manners to offer Aussie's cocktail sausages near caves. No wonder they fled. :D

Good luck all you Sadie the Cleaning Ladies. :D Have a nice day e'one. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

well, to update ..... the stain 'almost' came out.

Glad it gave you a laugh Chipps... gave me a laugh, and the little old ladies I told on my rounds!

There is still the faint hint of yellow marks round where the toast landed, but on the whole, it's done a good job

Off to have my lunch now, and tell OH about this morning (he's just got back in).

hope everyone is getting on ok with their FLCs, and hugs to everyone who needs one

    Hi All

Ok I'm dumb, what is FLC Day 1????

Had a good weekend. Went to the speedway on Saturday night for work - free entry. Actually really enjoyed which shocked me. I got vocal and started cheering! Then went to a summer solstice fair yesterday and got some lovely jewellery.

Invested in a copy of Martin's book for the whole family to benefit from.

Already munching on my lunch - I'm so hungry today.

Is it just me or have £2 coins dried up? I think it's all of us saving them in pots!!!

    Afternoon all!

Im off sick today as I had a really awful panic attack and couldnt sleep no matter what I did, even tried sleeping on the sofa, the floor, the bed, even contemplated the car at one stage. I still havent been to sleep and have booked a docs appt for wednesday afternoon.

In intending to have a slow relaxing day today as im not really feeling energetic enough to anything else. I was quite annoyed at my boss this morning too - I told her about a month or two ago about the problems ive been having and her only response was are you going to be in tomorrow and what work do you have outstanding. Its strengthened my resolve to get a new job.

Which reminds me - I need to email some of the jobs ive seen for application forms!
