Hi all, only a quickie tonight. ((((HUGE HUGS)))) to all that need, and well done to all that have gotten on with things they wanted to do.

Lillibet - It's a tough decision to make, so I wish you well with whichever route you take. My initial reaction was to say stay at home as returning didn't seem the best financial option, but on second reading I think perhaps you need a bit of a boost. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think there are some small signs of low self esteem starting to creep in. Perhaps it might be worth returning and seeing how you go, and perhaps even looking for a new job (nicer boss/easier travel/onsite childcare)? It's much easier to get another job when you're currently employed as opposed to finding one when your not - and if you really hated it would you not then be able to leave? I'm not sure where you stand on that with regards to the maternity leave you've had etc, I'm sure someone with experience can advise. Sorry it's a bit abrupt - got to dash to pick up DS2 in a mo!!!!

    Evening all

Well, unlike me, I have managed to achieve some of my list today:
    • Complete a job application half done
    • [strike]POffice: pay in money and post letters[/strike]
    • [strike]Boots - film developing[/strike]
    • [strike]Accounts
    • Sort out invoice
    • Pay Council Tax[/strike]
    • Shopping: write food and meal list, go to Tescos (recycling) no time as friend came round so I could help her with Golden Hello application
    • [strike]Check what leave I have booked for the summer[/strike]
    • Subscribe to TES Thur: ask at uni for discount voucher
    • [strike]Visit FL email to see what is the task on day 2![/strike] just had to get dressed for the day :rotfl:
20yr old cousin/flat mate has attempted to cook pork chops tonight - fried/crisped to an inch of their lives....kitchen splattered in grease, he has gone out for evening....will wait for tomorrow to clean - not very FL of me? I'm fed up with washing up after him. He always says 'I'll do it tomorrow', but doesn't and the pile just gets bigger and bigger...

Looking forward to a productive day tomorrow. Keeps my mind off things :)

    Morning everyone!

I guess lots of us are still resting after all that activity yesterday. Phew, I was like a whirlwind going round the bathroom polishing everything to within an inch of its life.

Today of course is another w*** day - it was *supposed* to rain today, but the sky is lovely and blue, so it looks like it's probably going to be a good day after all. I've got loads of bathroom related washing on driers at the moment, but think I'll keep it inside just in case as the weather can change fairly rapidly here.

I'm going to have to go into my lovely clean bathroom and mess it up in a moment when I have a shower. This is as good a day as any and start a new routine of giving the important bits a good swish around before I leave the room.

Have a lovely day everyone, see you all later.

Goodmorning everyone. I need to join in today for motivation. I have a lot to do.

    Take car to garage.
    Get shopping in.
Make muffins and apricot bread for picnic tomorrow.
Walk to asthma clinic after dropping son off at his friend's house to play.
Hopefully get out of there in time to pick up car.
    Clean bathroom and kitchen.
    Wash floors and vac sofas.

I'll be ticking this list off as the day goes on hopefully. I want to be able to come back on tonight and say I've done it!
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

:hello: Morning Snowy and fellow OS'ers to follow :)

I'm having an 'out' day today, so not too much going on OS or FLC. Mind you, I know a visit to an El Cheapo shop is on the cards and probably a Charity Shop or two, so at least any purchases today will be mse one's  Must remember to put a couple of bags for life in my handbag.

Put out rubbish bags last night before bed only to see this morning, most of it is all shrewn across the drive, courtesy of the gulls! More and more are moving inland and nesting on the rooftops so it was only a matter of time before they realised that early Tuesday morning is breakfast banquet day!

    B: Muesli
    L: out ;)
    D: pork chops

Mushy - fingers X'd for your job application.

Glad - hope your meal was a success and dh enjoyed his belated birthday celebrations :D It sounded delicious!

Vicky - Does this mean we'll see Dilbert back on the forums? ;) His posts did make me chuckle :)

tootles - aww, must be wonderful to have photo's of Cameron to oggle as you haven't managed to see him yet. Hope you get to see him soon and you and OH have slept better.

    scuzz - :T Enjoy the book :)

Jo - ((hugs)) Hope you are feeling much better today. If you managed nothing else, hope you got those emails out.

Lillibet - good luck with making the right decision for *you*.

Aril - elderflowers are still in abundance around here, so you shouldn't have missed the boat just yet.

Pooky - hope dd2 enjoyed her picnic in the park :D Sorry to read about your friend :( It's horrible when that happens.

poppycracker - :rotfl: Your post did make me chuckle. Hopefully you'll manage to get the whole stain out.

    Take care all

This is why my to-do lists never get done. I've just cleaned the fridge and put a wash on. They weren't on there.
