Morning all :hello:
Started FL yesterday - managed to clean kitchen, bathroom, lounge and I can walk around my bed without falling over anything! On Saturday I did all my washing and ironing (3 hours worth) but have been suffering since with both my arms hurting. I've discovered that cleaning is a good excuse to hide from the world
It's my last week off sick, I don't know where the other 5 have flown...probably some of it spent on here
However, I do have to go into work today for a two hour meeting to discuss the redundancy process...lovely prospect on a Monday morning! My tasks for the rest of the day:- Complete a job application
- POffice: pay in money and post letters
- Boots - film developing
- Accounts
- Sort out invoice
- Pay Council Tax
- Shopping: write food and meal list, go to Tescos (recycling)
- Check what leave I have booked for the summer
- Subscribe to TES
- Visit FL email to see what is the task on day 2!

Morning everyone,
I'm supposed to be starting the FL challenge today but whether I will remains to be seen.I've a bit of shopping to do and a lot of baking. My biggest problem will be staying away from this board:rotfl:
Good luck all you Fly Ladies;)0 -
Good morning all! And good luck to all doing the FLC! I'm working at 9 but I'll be with you in spirit!!
Just wanted to tell you all what just happened to me and my breakfast, might give some of you a laugh on a Monday morning!
I was coming along the corridor to turn the computer on, with my breakfast (two slices of toast and marmite) when the plate tipped and one of the slices of toast headed towards the floor. Oh knickers said I but didn't have time for much more because the toast had not made it to the floor, but stuck fast on my (clean) T-shirt! (butter side down of course). So instead of a nice relaxed half hour in front of the computer before I start work, it was a manic rush around to rinse the T-shirt and apply stardrops then put it in a nice white wash.... I hope the stain comes out, OH just bought me that T-shirt!!!
If not, can I come and pick your brains as to what WILL get marg and marmite out??
Gonna be busy at work today, got Afternoon tea at 2.30 to set up for, hoovering to do and weeding.
have a good day everyone :jDFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!

Good Morning All
Feel energetic this morning & hope it stays that way, weather is a bit overcast at the mom - hope it stays like that but dry so I can get washing on the line. As well as office work & the flc aim to clear washing basket today and have it all ironed by tonight.
L - prob ham sand
D - hm chicken curry.
Have a good one.0 -
Not feeling too hot today. Probably a combination of bean trouble, and the fact that early Sunday morning we were woken up by a helicopter right outside the front of our house. We had both windows open and it made one heck of a racket. Doubt that closing the windows would have helped, but then neither of us had enough energy to get up and close them. Later found out that it was probably a police helicopter as OH mentioned something about an abandoned car and some sand on the road later that day.
Breakfast was shreddies and strawberries (went strawberry picking on Saturday and we've been eating them all weekend....still loads left)
Lunch will be the usual nibbling
Tea....no idea as forgot to get anything out of the freezer...lets see how inventive my partner can be tonight.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
Good morning all!
Well, the washing is in the WM, but the sky doesn't look too promising, so not sure whether I will be able to hang stuff on the line today.
My Day 1 Task is the bathroom. I did a major declutter in there a couple of weeks ago, so I know that the cupboards have pretty much only what they should have in them, although I will check to make sure no clutter has sneaked in unnoticed!
On Saturday I bought some mould remover stuff from Lidl, and I am going to give that a try as we have a couple of mould patches on the ceiling which have resisted every other effort to remove. It is very annoying knowing you have cleaned the bathroom, to know that it still looks uncleaned because of the mould patch! Bathroom is swish-&-swiped daily, so isn't too bad, but I will do a more thorough move-the-cupboards type clean.
In 15 minute bursts, because otherwise I tend to try and do too much all in one go & then get disheartened & end up leaving it looking worse than before I started.
poppycracker - sorry to hear about your breakfast.... tried very hard not to laugh.... (failed miserably!)
Thanks for cheering me up - hope the stain comes out, at least you got to it nice & quickly!0 -

And for those who aren't starting at 9.00 am, Martin is on The Wright Stuff, channel 5 at 9.00 am
No problem for me, E'lass ....
... I shall be doing the Martin Lewis, MSE, 'Right Stuff' at 9am by doing moggin's FLC - clutter, disorganisation, dirt and germs breed = missed bills/unpaid/ill health = expensive meds = unable to work/earn.

GOOD MORNING ALL
:hello:
Up bright and breezy today  Woke up at 6.30am and spent 30 minutes laying in bed doing tummy tucks (just pulling in my tummy and still being able to breathe, counting to 10 and then releasing, rest for the count of 10 and repeat) my tummy has that "I've been exercising" dull ache so I'm very happyThen got up at 7 and made beds, tidied bedrooms, sorted out washing, dressed/washed and downstairs by 7.40
After seeing OH out, I've fed & "morning routined" DD, fed myself and managed to type out an invoice for the school to reclaim the money I've paid out for the school websiteBeen to school and handed in the invoice (copied them on the invoices I'd received from the company), handed in a photoalbum I'd borrowed for some photos and come home again by 9am
Now, I've caught up with the threads here, put 1 wash load on and when I've done here (and organizedhome) I'll check my bank balance and get on with jobs. Must also remember to pay for OH's father's day pressie.
I'll be joining in the Flylady challenge I think. Since I did DD's room at the weekend with her, I'm going to use today to do a tidy through (each room just needs a quick touch up) and get the washing / ironing done. I've borrowed a couple of DVD's from my brother so I'll do the ironing while watching them.
I really should get on, but I need to eat again as I'm hungry :rolleyes:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
