Morning Queenie, Roz, Snowy, Chipps and everyone else (especially anyone I cross post with and so miss out!!!)
I still have problems with MSE trying to download a file to my PC this morning so having to take 'another route' to the forums. Thank heavens I've lots of MSE O/S in my browser history!!!
Roz - I'd have loved to see your flat mates face when she found out that her boss new... if she has.... perhaps that could be your leaving gift??? Failing that mybe you can leave her a cup of soda crystals
Chipps - your DS should have a great weekend as we've been forecast great weather, though if he has hayfever (hopefully not) make sure he has plenty of meds as the pollen is supposed to be at its highest. I might try to take my little one to the beach this weekend as that is where the pollen tends to be at its lowest....
Well, best crack on. DS1 has Physics exam this morning and to him it's mentally his last exam - next week is his 'official' final exam - media studies, but he doesn't feel he needs to study for that as he says it's more to test your 'understanding' than knowledge......
Best wishes to all,

Morning, all! Sunny again, here in the yorkshire flatlands. Big OSing day today. DH has his flexi friday (he works a 9-day fortnight, and every other Friday off. Hurrah. :j :j
DH in the garden watering just now :T , I'm chivvying children  . After breakfast, we'll both go out, weeding, watering, planting my new plants from a gorgeous little nursery I found this week, near the prison I was visiting. Plants half the price of garden centre. Will need to do another prison visit soon, so a return to the nursery. It's run by people with special needs, so loads of staff, all very keen to help, and knowledgable.
TV interview yesterday was fab. Not seen it yet (was out singing) but have been told thet the piece was successful. Was unable to use the words wincyette, crimplene, or my personal favourite word, gusset  . Maybe next time. There was a small visual clue for the eagle eyed amongst you!
Bike ride later, then trip to deli for a coffee, and pick up fruit and veg boxes. They did use Farmaround but had a few problems, so this is my first go with their new company. Need to see if they have tahini (if not they'll order it for me) as I have craving for hummous.
Roz, delighed for you! :T :T :T
Moggins, we had similar issues with DD. She had several small illnesses, didn't eat, and saded away. Took her to doctor who was no help. She's now tall, slim and beautiful, envy of all her friends! She eats what she likes, plenty of fatty/protien foods, rather than sugar. Have you tried smoothies. Mine love them. Full fat yoghurt, banana, and fruit of your choice, whizzed. Could add extra cream, or ice cream.
PP, love the new avatar. Where's it from? Do hope you're feeling better soon. ((((((((HUG)))))))
Have a good day!

Looks like it's going to be a lovely day here on the coast.
Loads to do today, washing, sewing, gardening, lawn cutting, parrot cage to scrub and want to wash the car when DH gets home and give it a hoover out, it's looking really manky.
Nothing more to say really, hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend.:j"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Morning.
I'm taking a 'sickie' day today. I have worked non-stop for the last 2 weeks since going back, and over the hols, and i just keep getting more work shoved my way. I've not been sleeping very well due to not being able to get comfy and hayfever, so i woke up this morning with yet another headache and not feeling with it, and i thought stuff it. I will try to use today to do all the school work i will need done for next Monday, and a bit of house tidying, and then the weekend i can use for my jobs that need doing. I'm absolutely fed up of never getting any further in front despite working like a trojan. At this rate i'll be on the delivery ward and my head of department will still be saying, oh - and one more thing....
Moan over
Plan for the day:- do some washing and ironing.
- tidy kitchen
- write a list of things to buy for babies room, and living room which we still need to start decorating and child proofing.
- fill in claims form for SAT marking.
- tidy away all paperwork for SAT marking.
- empty remainder of boxes brought from my parents house last month and sort into bin, put in loft, or charity shop.
Also spend some time chilling out.
done already -- DH emptied kitchen bin and put out the bin and recycling.
- I cleaned the bin and put in a new bag, and put away the dishes from last nights washing up.
I think that is more than enough to be getting on with.
Roz - good luck with the packing. The landlord probably thinks you deserve your money back after living with that dirty woman.
Moggins try looking through PPs thread she started the other week, as she said she was having the same problem herself and asked for recipes.
Rest of you have a good day. Don't do anything i wouldn't do.

Morning :hello: ... Formatting problems again  ... Managed to watch 10 mins of last night's match and still saw both goals
... Am MEGA excited today cos I'm going to see the Royal Opera's new production of Tosca, this is a huge deal as the ROH had been using the previous production since the early 60's so a new one is big news, also the cast is as big names as you can get (Angela Gheorghiu, Bryn Terfel) and tickets are now selling on eBay for silly money ... Also realised it's 10 years today since my first visit to the Royal Opera House so it will be a good way to celebrate ... Can't stop cos of w**k, but I'm soooooo pleased it's Friday and I don't have too much planned for the weekend (just out tomorrow evening and church choir on Sunday morning) ... Breakfast was a bacon sarnie ... lunch and dinner will be reheated pies with veg ... Hope all are well ... PP, I like your new avatar! ... Catch you later ... Rzl

I'm sure he'll have a great time. As for missing him... well, I'm with him pretty much all day every day as we home educate, so am pretty sure we'll both survive a weekend off:D0 -
