The dentists chair isn't my favourite place AT ALL. Amongst some of the tips I have received I think the best is to take a personal stereo along to listen to the radio (particularly a chat type station) or a 'talking book'. Anything to distract you while you're there!
Really tired as I've not long got in from another party (work), just logged on to unwind and read through the thread, but reallise I don't have the energy tonight. Think I'll head off to bed now. Thankfully there should be enough of todays loaf of bread left for tomorrow lunch!
Hope you all get a good night,

Well what do you know, we beat Japan. :D I didn't get to stay up, but saw a lot of the highlights this morning. The real estate guy has just left. Inspection went fine. DD not feeling crash hot this morning.

I plan on doing some baking today and catching up with the ironing. DH starts work at 6pm so will have an early tea. Took out some chicken so will make chicken potato slice with veggies. Sleep well.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Morning all...or is it goodnight, can't decide, I haven't been to sleep yet.

I am rather bored so thought I'd get up and do a bit of internerding for a while.

Shez, did you start your new job yesterday? Was thinking about you if you did. If you didn't, well that was a waste of time wasn't it!?!

Moggins, I hope your little one is feeling better. The tummy bug you describe is a horrible feeling. Ugh, I shudder at the thought of it. Hope she gets over it asap.

FreyaLuck - I absolutely love your avatar, I think it's my favourite (other than my lovely Henry puddy in my avatar, who passed away last year, miss him like mad)

SmashingBlouse - gosh, good luck in your new job. I was dumped on a switchboard once with about five mins notice. It was an awful experience. Sorry if I am putting you off!! I'm not a phone person at all. Once you get the hang of it and get familiar with names and what have you you'll enjoy it I'm sure.

VickyA...a house! You're going to view a house!! It's a good idea to go and have a look around just for a browse, and familiarise yourself with what you can get for whatever price in your chosen areas. You never know, this one might be a good doer upper and a bargain you fall in love with.

I am getting sleepy :j so am going to try and get some kip now. See you all later.

Morning Snowyowl and all to follow.

Had a bad night here but know its because im worried about my iron infusion again today. Have to be up there by 10 today and can feel my veins shutting down already:eek:

Its chucking it down with rain here and has cooled alot which is good for me as the heat has made things a little difficult.

No washing to put on. DW needs to be emptied and toilet has been cleaned.

OH & DD went to Lidls last night and bought some top up stuff for the fridge we needed. He also bought a couple of the offers on the outside broom and a cleaning kit for £1.99.

Will be taking sarnies, crisps and fruit up there today as the sandwhiches are nearly £3. Will also take a bottle of water which can be re-filled from the machine and OH can get free coffees etc.

Anyway, Im going as I need some water.

    Breakie: Yogurt & Fruit
    Lunch:Cheese/Ham Pickle sarnie
Dinner:Fish, New Potatoes, carrots and peas

    Hugs to all.

    Morning all!

PP, sounds like you need BIG HUGS today.

FF, Wimpole Hall, one of my fave places. Our baby chicks are now thriving. DH calls me "Lady Farmer" (reference to Sophie's Snail, if anyone's read it) and DD said I was like Jesus, as I helped a lame chicken walk! Oooh, the adoration. If you see any baby lambs (or is it too late for them) can you bring me one, to rear in my Rayburn?

Drinking home made elderflower cordial. Beans boiled for tonight's veggi chilli. BM on for DH's breakfast tomorrow. Bags packed for work. Shopping list written. Botles in car to recycle in town.

    Have a good day, all.

    Penny. x

    Morning all

Lovely sea breeze blowing in this morning - it's trying desperately hard to rain, had about 8 drops and half a rumble of thunder.

One little one here all day, yesterday turned into a bit of a long day as all the parents got stuck at work and I didn't get rid of the last one until after 6pm...mind you they all had fun in the paddling pool and sand pit in the shade and ate their body weight in lollies.....

B - Cereal and toast all round
L - left over quiche from last night
D - Chicken and veg stir fry with noodles

Must get some banking done this morning, need to pop to the post office and farmers market too - just need to dodge the rain (if we get a decent downpour that is).

Really need to get my head around Fathers day too - forgot it was this weekend and need to get DD's to make some cards tonight.

Hope you all have a great day - hugs to all who need them.
