Quick post as I need to go and sort out DD.

Going to Asda straight from school as we're low on loads of stuff. How I don't know, but we are so I'm going straight from school as it's raining here and I'm not getting soaked three times! Then I'm going to get on with washing and other housework.

    Good morning all,

Well, after my first post on Saturday morning, I didn't get chance to post yesterday at all. However, now I'm at work, I'm catching up ;)

I ended up having a really nice weekend. Instead of watching the football, I went garden shopping and bought some geraniums, a lily and a plant that looks pretty, but I'm not sure what it is! I also bought some more pots for the patio to plant everything in. (I went to B&Q and they were selling a large plastic patio pot for £9.99 . I went to Morrisons and they were selling five different sized ceramic pots for £8.99.:j).

Yesterday was then spent planting everything and giving the patio a good sweep. The garden is starting to look a bit better now. We've only been living in the house three months and I know the garden will take a couple of years to get it how we want it but I want it perfect NOW, which is a bit difficult, as 1) I don't have a clue what I'm doing gardening-wise and 2) I'm very impatient!

Anyway, I'm at w**k today so won't get much OS stuff done today. I did manage to give the bathroom a quick wipe round this morning but that was it.

Breakfast - weetabix (well, Tesco's version)
Lunch - ham & coleslaw sandwiches
Dinner - off out to an Italian for a friend's birthday, so either pizza or pasta probably :D

VickyA - I just realised that we're kind of neighbours. I'm a Northants girl too!

Hope everyone has a good day (PP, hope you feel a bit better as the day goes on and that you get your computer problems sorted out).

    Nic

    Morning all

First post for a few days as NT"Hel"L has been playing up since last week

Still, I have made use of the down time - last night I did the whole Yogalates video (1hrs worth!) although I ache bad today.....
All this must be helping though as I weighed in on Saturday and i've lost 9.5Ibs in 4.5weeks so i'm really impressed.

PP - what site are you staying at in Filey? My mum's neighbours went on a Sun holiday and said the site was good, lots of amenities.

Not been sleeping well recently due to bad hayfever. Feeling very poo like - itchy eyes, itchy throat, runny nose, sneezing. BEst night i've had in ages last night

Right, best be off, lots to do at w*** today!

Breakfast - Fruit and Fibre - apricot yoghurt
Lunch - Salad from work (possibly a Ceasar)
    Tea - Tuna and pasta

    Take care y'all

    Hello everybody,

Queenie - All seems to be working ok now. Fingers crossed. How was the rabbit? I've never tasted rabbit before. Poor little Bugs. :D

Turned on my computer this morning and it wouldn't click into the internet. Had some nasty trojan bug. DH eventually arrived home and understood :D what the guys on the Techie forum were telling me to do. This site is so great. So many lovely people willing to extend themselves to help others. :A

We had a public holiday today. Last one for the year. Queen's Birthday. :D I vacumed, washed floors & caught up with laundry today as well as sorting out computer. It's so cold here atm. :p I'm trying to keep awake tonight to watch the soccer. It starts at 11pm. We play Japan. They've accused us of being a *dirty* team. The cheek of them. :D I don't think we've won a game ever :o so I'm not expecting miracles.

Hope you all have a nice day & (((((hugs))))) to those in need. Byeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Morning :) ... Looks like my paragraph formatting problem might be back  ... W**k today... obviously! I am looking forward to this week as hopefully I will find out for certain that I'm getting this promotion. My prospective bosses have been spreading it around that I "will be" doing this job, but I've told them I haven't said yes yet and can't do so until they make me a firm salary offer! Fingers crossed! Of course it won't give me any more "disposable" money cos I'll be diverting it all to my savings - but I am hoping it might give me a couple of choices flat-purchase-wise - either reach my £15k target a bit early and start looking late this year instead of early next, or just save more for the deposit within the timescale I'd already set myself ...I have a particular salary figure in mind which I think is "conservatively realistic" so if it's that or more, I'll be well pleased ;) ... My current boss is away for the next 2 days so I should be able to achieve loads... just as soon as I get off OS and start doing some serious work :o ... Need to do a few non-w**k things though - will be ringing Toni & Guy Academy to see if they can fit me in to get my hair cut & coloured on my week off - this should cost a max of £20 all in, rather than around £60 at my local salon, which means more for the savings! I do wish I hadn't started going grey at age 20, then I wouldn't need a colour treatment at all  ... Off out this evening (surprise surprise ;)) but it is a 7pm start, not too long a show, and I'm not expecting to run into any of my usual post-show pub buddies so I would think I'll be on the train home by 10pm ... Breakfast: blueberry muffins (not very big so I had 2) ... Lunch: cumberland pie with thyme crust (reduced to 20p) and peas ... Dinner: not quite sure yet - will see when I get home ... Hope everybody's OK - Shez I've PM'd you a probable solution to your time-out problem ... Rzl xx

    Morning all

Thanks for the thoughts, unfortunately the morning (or the night) did not go as planned as DD had me up at 4am. She went to a party yesterday and threw up all over her bed at 4am. I thought it might have been the effects of stuffing herself with rubbish at the party but unfortunately it has developed into a full scale tummy bug and is now coming from both ends :(

She's now curled up on the sofa watching Doodle Do and feeling very sorry for herself :(

I'm still sat here in my nightie, a first for me! Will go and take some pills in a minute to try and get rid of this lack of sleep headache and tootle around doing whatever bits I can fit in around her.

Big hug. Maybe DD could tolerate little bits of ice cube that trickle into her tummy and fool it yet still hydrate her?

Need to go and get some shopping for my Dad as he is due home from hospital this morning. Just stopped raining so that I can hang his washing out.

DD has chest infection so going with her to GP later this afternoon.

    Hugs to all.
