Morning, Queenie, by the time I plucked up courage, you beat me to it!
Morning other OSers. Another bright, bright, sunshiney day here in the flatlands of the north.
Will be fretting over baby chicks today. They are v. comical.
DD has english homework, which she's been putting off - not like her, she usually likes to get it done straight away so it's off her conscience. So I may be involved in that later.
After the great successes in the veg patch, today I will mostly be planting more lettuce, corriander, and rocket.
Have a great sunday.

Good job my boys are having a lay in bed this morning ... there are times where I'm sure they'd agree heartily with that nickname:rotfl:

Morning Queenie, and morning to AussieLass and Penelope Penguin, I know you are around here somewhere!
Nicki and Johanne - sorry to hear about your Nana.
It's a lovely blue sky here in N.Ireland, well there are a few cotton-woolly cloudy things bobbing about too, and there is a fresh breeze, so it's lovely weather right now. It gives rain for later, but it doesn't look like it will.
Queenie, what a naughty furbaby!! How old is he? My little furbaby Dylan occasionally piddled on my bed - he even did a number two once:eek: - I tried keeping him out of my room, but of course I always forgot to close doors and so on. I tried every cure in the book but he'd only get the message on a temporary basis. In the end the cure was to rub his nose in his pee - sorry if that offends anybody. That really was the last time, he got the message loud and clear and hasn't done it again since - that was several months ago. I'm not sure what is going on in their heads when they do this - it may be that he's wanting to mark territory but is confused about the process. If he's just entering adolescence perhaps a trip to the vet to have his undertail parts "trimmed" IYKWIM might be in order. My poor little boy got done before he was even three months old and the vet seemed to think it might have been part of the same problem.
I'm going to have a lazy Sunday doing nothing in particular. Though I absolutely MUST do some household paperwork as I have a mountain of it sitting looking at me.
Happy Sunday everyone.

Morning Guys
Lovely to hear about the newbie chicks PP. Queenie-I agree that it will be too hot later to iron, if its not too hot already. Is the yogurt easy to make?
Slept quite well again last night, but just hurt from head to toe:rolleyes: hopefuly the pain killers will kick in soon as I have alot of thinking and bits to do today and need me working brain on:D
WM is on and will be hung outside. DW has been emptied and the toilet cleaned. Probably have 2 loads to do today.
Yesterday we had a nice day. We ended up where my sister/mum lives and spent a few hrs there. She did a lovely buffet salady type dinner and we had sarnies for lunch. Mum gave me £40 to get DD some new summer clothes (although she has enough!)and sister had bought DD a few things from her wholesaler. Sister and I popped to Tescos for half hour (their store sells clothes) and i took me wheels and managed to get DD 9 t-shirts and 1 pair of shorts for £9...all in their value range...very impressed with the quality too. Offered to give mum back the other £30 and she said to keep it towards something else-so it will be put in the uniform pot;)
Today I must finish my essay and send off tomorrow, just cant seem to get my brain into gear.
DD has done her HW and OH will be pottering around the garden today. House is still clean and tidy so nothing needing doing there.
Id best go and will call back in later. Hope everyone has a good day and make sure you have sunscreen on if going out!!!
Breakie: Toast & Marmite
Lunch:Jacket Spud, ham & Salad
Dinner:Chicken, roasties, yorkies, carrots, peas, stuffing and gravy
Hugs to all.

Goodmorning everybody,
Could someone put me out of my misery and tell me what a furbaby is?Didn't end up getting to the markets today. Missed the ferry  and had to take the next one so would have missed the connection. We drove Ex DIL & DGS into the city to catch their train. Then just went and visited friends. DGS was a lot better today. Hopefully this time Ex DIL will take him back to the dr & make sure she follows through with his medication. She can be so slack it makes my blood boil. I won't go on about it, it just makes me upset.
It rained most of the night again and the wind is so icy today. Tomorrow is a public holiday. The Queen's birthday. I will vacume & catch up on the household chores as we are getting an inspecion first thing on Tuesday morning.
Sorry to hear about your loss Nicki. It seemed to happen very quickly which is a blessing at times.
Have a great day everyone. ByeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Snowy - furbaby 2yrs old now (is that feline adolescence?
) Oh yes, he did get the 'facts of life' talk at the same time - do it again, chum and you'll get your lumpy bits chopped  He's due a visit to the vets later this month anyway, so I think I shall book him in. He's a housecat and I have not intentions of breeding from him, so his lumpy bits aren't 'required' for much else other than decoration.
Penny - will you accept a compensatory :coffee::laugh:
Penny Pincher - the yogurt is dead easy to make. I use Whitefivers method with great success.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
