Not got loads of time as I've got to get ready for this eves party, but wanted to say hello! Skimmed briefly through the posts so, hello all.
Catowen - hope you have a fab holiday (oops, probably already gone!)

Mushy Peas - good for you girl. Really pleased to hear you picking up, and don't you dare give up such a wonderfull home!! At least not until you've at least tried posting smelly kippers through his letterbox to get him to move first!
Tootles - a friend of mine tried xenecol, please be carefull not to travel far from home while you see how your body reacts to it, and do stock up on the Andrex.... ;-)
SOMO1 - I was hoping that I would find another post by you when I got to the end - fingers crossed that all is ok.....

Sorry if I've missed anything else out, but have really only skimmed the tops of all the posts as I couldn't go all day without reading any of this thread.
    Best wishes to all,

Haven't managed to post lately so Hi to everyone! i have managed to read the thread most days and you've all been in my thoughts.

Squeaky - Welcome back!!!!!!! You were much missed.

Nicki - so sorry to hear about your Nan. Thinking of you. ((((hugs))))

Mushy Peas - have been thinking of you ((((hugs)))) The house does sound gorgeous but maybe there might be something as nice somewhere else?

Shez - sorry you are having family problems. So are we - must be the cosmos or something! ((((hugs)))) thinking of you too.

P-P So sorry your infusion has made you feel so awful ((((hugs)))) Do they know WHY it makes you feel so bad? I thought iron would make you feel much better and was really pleased for you!

Bargain Rzl The alcohol spreadsheet sounds a good idea! Trouble is, that wine slips down so easily and innocently, doesn't it! And the wine is usually in a bigger glass nowadays than it used to be, so a lot of people don't realise how many units they are actually drinking. I met some of my former colleagues for a Wetherspoons curry last night - you get curry and a drink for £4.49 (may be more in Central London), so I chose Strongbow for my drink, then had a large red wine afterwards - had splitting headache this morning, so won't be doing that again! I only had a Coke after the wine though - didn't want to find I didn't know my way home even though it was only a 5-minute walk up the road!

White guinea pig Welcome! And welcome to the new posters who joined the thread while I haven't been posting.

Rage in Eden How nice to see you back!

Ticklemouse The paddling pool sounds very inviting (sigh) You enjoy it girl!

Elona So glad to hear that your Dad will soon be out of hospital! Hope he gets on all right.

SOMO1 - I do hope you managed to see the doc and that your leg is okay! My DH had the same problem last year - the doc told him to keep the leg elevated and go to the hosp at once if the inflammation spread. luckily it didn't, and the antibiotics did the trick.

MATH - hope you all enjoyed your break! So glad to hear that your MIL is getting on well. Hope all goes well for Mrs MATH re new job!

Tootles - Hope you get on all right with the Xenical. I've pm'd you with a poem about quilting which was in "Sewing World" mag which I received today - i can't post it on the thread because of copyright but I think it's allowable to pass it on to individuals - if not apologies - I'm sure someone will enlighten me!

    Afternoon :p

I've just had a phonecall from DH (2nd in 2 days so i take it he's missing me) and he hasn't fell off his bike yet. ;)

The heat hasn't got to me as bad today, although i've just noticed that my stomach is covered in a rash. I made the mistake of telling DH that, and he wants me to roll them under a tumbler. They look more like spots to be honest, and i'll see if they fade when i swap to comfier clothes before i worry about it.

SOMO1 - take very good care of yourself. My dad had this a few years ago and ended up in hospital with it. he's in a wheelchair,so couldn't manage to elevate his leg.

Elona good news about your dad. That should make things a lot easier for you.

Nicki hope your nanna shows some improvement.

BRZL you sound good on excel. I can only make it do the basics. I don't know why i can't use it but i guess it depends on what you use for work.

Ticklemouse Is your husband a teacher? I had a chuckle at your description of him and the papers. I'm sure that is what my DH must think but unfortunately my papers are all over the dining room. Thankfully they will be gone fairly soon. Must get on with that marking this weekend.

Anyway, going to go to start thinking about what to domyself for tea.

    Hugs to you all.

    Michelle, xx

Cha97michelle - it sounds as if you've got a heat rash! Poor you, this is definitely not nice weather to be pregnant in. My DD is "due" in August and having spent ages being too cold because she'd bought summery maternity clothes, she's now melting instead! Try to keep your feet up when you're at home, it should help the swelliing go down to some extent.

    Second attempt, typed in notepad:

Shaz - hugs to you dear, sorry you have bad news as well. ((((hugs)))) to you. Don't worry about Davina, back on it next week - anyway Davina is looking rather big at the moment - tee hee. Please do ramble, that is what we are all here for :)

Shaz and Nutty - I've just bought a running book so will start that again next week - gives me good thinking time :) I'll keep you up to date with my progress.

Think I will go for the house, this is the second I have tried to buy and if this falls through I would have lost £4K on house buying!! Ooh, I hope I don't change my mind tomorrow. Maybe it is the Libran in me that makes decision making so hard? I like the idea of putting kippers through his front door :rotfl: :rotfl: - tee hee. I feel strong today, but will see how it goes at work - two weeks and counting.

SnowyOwl - thanks for your positive thoughts :) You're right, he is not worth the blubbing. Only just started to realise that he wasn't that caring, or very nice, but clever with it :(

CatOwen - have a FAB holiday - you deserve a break. Maybe we can organise a South West meet when you get back? Anyone else local to Devon/Cornwall? We could have a trip to the beach. Gosh....that was a bit of a brave suggestion.

SOMO1 - are you ok? Poor you with your leg, hope you post soon.

cha97 - gosh you sound like you are suffering in the heat. Hope have have found somewhere cool to relax this evening :) Good luck with the marking this weekend.

Hey PP - sorry you aren't feeling too great. Hope you have a good nights sleep.

Nicki - sorry to hear about your nanna, I hope the news from the hospital is positive.

Elona - great news about your dad going home to his flat.:T

Thanks kazonline - I love your fighting talk :)

Ivyleaf - thanks for your thoughts :) Problem is, I've fallen in love with the area :(

    Welcome back squeaky!

BargainRzl - how do you do it all? I'm so impressed! This year I managed to work myself into the ground by working full-time, teaching two nights a week, studying two nights and volunteering one. I coulnd't do it, I think that is why I've been so tired and weepy recently. You are such a positive spirit - full of energy, very inspiring!

Outrageous_money - thank you for your positive thoughts and positive attitude - I need more of that!

AussieLass - ooh, but the hassle of finding another house is just too much :( And having to decide where to live. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Maybe I can just wish him to disappear?

TM - I am v.v.v jealous of your big tv. I have an old one that needs replacing, sometime in the future.

manicdays - enjoy your holiday, you deserve it :)

BTW, currently at my sister's in Southampton, long drive, arm aching, but chilling on her sofa with BB on (I admit it....I love it!) She's at a Bon Jovi concert - very 80s! It's great having a laptop on my lap (strange that...) so I can have the TV on and surf. But the straight keyboard is very bad for my arms  Also thinking about what I want to do with my spare time, strange but I'm a fully grown adult and have spent most of my life thinking of others. I could do anything I want, but erm how to decide!

Back to Davina :) BB - not an exercise video!

    Evening all

michelle - yes, Mr TM is a teacher: English, being taught by an Irish man, doing the Welsh board!! :rotfl:

I've managed to sort out a bit more of my tv and how to record :D It's slow going but hey - I'd best give it to the kids, they'll have it sussed in seconds :D

Done some more gardening - potted up some shrubs and my strawberries and just have 2 small shrubs and the bedding plants to do tomorrow. Funnily enough, I feel all full of beans now that I should be getting ready for bed so I may go and do something constructive for a while. I think I'll tidy the living room and clean some of the kitchen. Expect me to be sooooo tired in the morning ;)

Hope you all have a good night - catch ya tomorrow.

    TM xx
