    Morning everyone.

Thought i'd pop on quickly before work to show that i am not always tired. :p

I'm just sat with my cuppa after my morning wheetabix, watching the birds in the garden with my 2 little cats.

DH left at 5:30. He briefly woke me up to say goodbye to me and the bump, but after kisses all round, i went back to the land of nod for another hour. It's not a sponsored holiday Queenie. His brother works in a bike shop in London, and the company that is organising the trip are trying to get the shop to promote the holidays. Naturally, it's easier to do if you have been given some free tickets, and you can have a bit of a lads weekend away. :rotfl: DH's last bit of freedom before baby. I've told him to stay with me then until afterwards as changing cat litter trays is pretty hard going at the moment.

I've dressed as cooly as my wardrobe will allow today, as it was boiling at school yesterday. I have an exam invigilation to do this morning, and teaching in my room later on in the day. The heat got to me a bit yesterday, and my feet ended up swollen and achy. Bowl of cold water soon sorted that out. I don't know how the kids concentrate in that environment.

Then i've got detention duty, and i also need to go to my parents to help my brother revise for his exam tomorrow. I might see if they can stretch tea to feed a little one, and then i won't have to think about that.

Best go and sort out the cats, as i can hear one of them eating a stray prawn cracker from the chinese that we had last night.

And its about time for me to leave for weekand i'm still about ten minutes from that.

    Have a fab day everyone.
    Michelle, xx

Morning TM, Roz_V, Gingham Ribbon and all others to follow

Not a good night last night and feel completely washed out this morning. Think I may have a nap later to see if this helps.

WM is on as the weather is glorious here and will be hung out by my darling OH in a bit. DD has emptied the DW and Ive cleaned the toilet:D Rest of the house is clean and tidy. DD's lunch has been done too.

I want to get some of my essay done today, but apart from that need to rest as Im back at Kings in the morning for my infusion:eek: and is going to drain me. Have to make a couple of calls and move some money about in the accounts.

Will pop back in later. Have a great day everyone.

Have woken up with a HUGE insect bite on my leg  Will read the thread on it in a bit for some help :D

Have washed DD's only school dress she will wear, dried it and ironed it and placed it on her person - so we have a happy girl this morning :D

Looking forward to work today as I've got the office to myself :D (Will probably pop back on here later :shhh: :naughty:  )

Brekkie is all done, lunches made, and dinner tonight will be sausage and pasta and broccoli.

Better dash as I want to stick some washing on.... we're away at the weekend so I need to make sure everything is done before we go away.

    Good morning everyone,

Welcome to Roz, im sure you will enjoy it here!!!!

Well, another beautiful day, ive actually braved a shorter skirt today (well, my shorts and pretty summer stuff is all packed!!!) so everyone has to suffer my bruised legs!!!! Its going to be another busy one for me, ive decided as i only have one little one here we are going to walk to school, so the children are quite pleased at that (prob wont be half way to school tho!!!!) then i have to go into town and pick up our holiday money!!!!! Hoping it will be quite a lot, as the dollar/pound rate is really good at the moment.
Then its a trek to the doctors to have my final blood test before we go, so fingers crossed my level will be high enough to fly!!!! Should get the result this afternoon or tomorrow morning, but im sure its going to be fine.
Have a friend coming around tonight for dinner, we are going to have a bbq so looking forward to that, so today im also going to do a big clean in the kitchen as i dont have anymore meals to cook before we go (out tomorrow night). Im hoping to hoover upstairs as well, but wont panic if i cant, as long as ive cleaned up there before Friday, i would hate to leave a dirty house!!!
Right, better help DD with her eczama cream and suntan lotion, she is struggling a bit at the moment!
Have a lovely day everyone, hugs to all those who are poorly or just want one!!!!!
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning all, isn't it lovely to wake up to such a gorgeous day?

Hugs to all poorly peeps, I've decided to say sod the housework, I'm getting my bike out and going for a ride instead. After watching Anthea with DH for the last couple of nights I've come to the conclusion that he really doesn't give two hoots if the place is a bit messy, in fact he said he'd want to kill himself if he lived with someone like that, I can always find anything the family is looking for, he has clean clothes to wear every day and a cooked meal on the table every night, it appears he is happy with that. So I've decided I am going to relax and not stress myself out if something doesn't get done as he loves me anyway :D

Morning Ticklemouse (blimey, early!), Roz_V (welcome :hello:), Queenie, Gingham Ribbon, cha97michelle, PP, stressedoutmumof1, catowen (fingers crossed), moggins – what a fantastic attitude, enjoy your bike ride :p .

Hi Shez – sorry for not arranging to meet up. I’m kind of fragile at the mo and was a bit scared, but hopefully I’ll be feeling much better soon so next time it’s definitely a meet :D

Meeting ex-OH tonight, feel like it’s the last supper :(. Oh well, as my friend says at least it will be ‘closure’.

Still no news on the house, no-one can get hold of the vendor!

Scary post this morning, letter from work asking me to go in whilst I’m off sick to discuss changes to the department….I hope I still have a job after it next Monday.

I’m quite enjoying being off work now, I can take the time to keep on top of emails/post/washing/tidying. Goodness knows how I’ll cope when I go back!

Please send good vibes my way at 1730 *wibble*.

((((hugs)))) to all who need them today.

    morning all :grouphug:

Not read the thread through yet but I'll catch up later when I get back from the shops. I have just spent 50 minutes taping & stitching my wally trolley back together. The nylon trim around the top which holds the pullsting bit to close it up has ripped and was all hanging off. So I've temporarily taped it together with parcel tape and then quick running stitch to attach it to the actual basket bit. Not pretty but it will do until later when I'll sit down with some ribbon and make a new bit for it.

Better get going now as I need to do the weekly shop, with a budget of £15...could prove interesting considering what I need

Morning all..............(((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) to those who need or want them.

Pleased to say that although the nose is snotty and the cough still barking I am feeling better, enough to consider!!!!!! cleaning the living room...... as I plan to change the bed Friday do not see any point in cleaning the bedroom till then!!!!

OH does not seem to have the pox too badly, at least if he has for once he is not complaining about it, although how much that is to do with him playing bowls tonight tomorrow and Friday I am not sure!!!! He ahs gone off for a haircut on his free bus pass, saves on petrol...........

Not a lot planned apart from a bit of a blitz on the living room and kitchen....we have laminate floor in the hall and living room, the hall floor has a mat on it cut from the bedroom carpets when we had them fitted, it is looking decidedly grubby, so may just decide to throw it out, we do have a big rubber backed mat just inside the front door to wipe feet on, but the muck still seems to get onto the other mat as well, it looks sssssoooo scruffy.

I am hoping to persuade step son to do something with the kitchen floor, when we moved into the house 2 years ago he had to have a new boiler fitted and he said he could not afford to do anything with the kitchen floor, so I bought some of those carpet tiles from B & Q and put them down, they too are now beginning to look the worse for wear. The old tiles on the floor were really bad and OH and I spent all one new years day scrapping as much of them off the floor as we could, but really the floor needs self levelling screed putting down and new tiles, I would like ceramic ones that I can just sweep and mop over, bu will he???????????? The kitchen could do with refitting, its badly designed, there were no wall cupboards at all, just a sink unit and three base cupboards, so again B & Q got MY money for 5 wall cupboards, BUT I have a feeling he will not want to refit the kitchen unless we up the rent and what we pay now is enough. We also need the landing, bathroom and backbedroom windows replaced with double glazed ones........ I am sure if I slam the bathroom one the glass will fall out the corner of the window is so rotten, perhaps thats what I should do whilst the weather is so nice, then perhaps we will get the thing done before the winter. Those windows face north and you can tell in the winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enough of my moaning, time to go and make a coffee and syke myself up to clean the living room.....

    Have a good day.................
