    Good Evening All

Late post for me as been to Legoland all day - the weather was lovely the drive there and back was awful (2 hours each way) but we all enjoyed ourselves but wont be going back again. Myself and my sister took 2 children each - 7&8 year olds - well they couldnt even go on the smallest of rides without being accompanied by 1 adult each! & they only told us this after we had queued for 20 mins!! so we could only go on rides that sat 4 in a car iyswim - have never had a problem with Chessington or Thorpe Park so know where Ill be going next time. Also with the Tussuards group they have MD's & Kentucky at normal prices not like there today £15 for one childs meal and 1 adult meal & they wernt nice - my fault for not taking a packed lunch!!

Anyway rant over ......cant wait for tomm till they are back at school as my house is a tip, the washing basket is overflowing and my paperwork is piling very high! also need to nip to the Library so will deffo be a busy bee tomm. Theve had a nice half term its just a pity the weather has kicked in as they are going back.
Must get back on OS wagon wef tomm as fell off bigtime - takeaways & reckless thoughtless buys so will be menu planning and budgeting very very carefully from now on.

Will go now as oh will be waking up soon - he will get out of bed & I will get in it tonight - enjoy the rest of your evening.

    :hello: Goooood Morning OS'ers :D:D:D

Just written out cheques to the total of £44.50 on 3 "educational trips" for the school. Looks like I need to readjust my calculations/budget to cover these higher amounts since d12yo went to Grammar and with d10yo going in September, it's going to be quite a recalculation!

Chicken feed and cleaned, batch of hm muesli replenished and I'm still only on my 1st mug of tea!

Catch up with you all in a while, I need a coffee

Good morning Queenie, and everyone else,

Another lovely day here in the south west, and i just have one little one here, so should be a nice day. Going to get a bowl with some water in it for her to play with in the garden so that should keep her happy for a bit!!!!
Need to start ironing everything in our suitcases, i know it will get creased again, but will make me feel a bit happier. I dont normally iron anything unless i have to but once i had put all we were taking in the suitcases i noticed some of it was a bit too creased, so the iron will be making a rare appearence!!!!
Apart from the ironing, and putting the BM on thats all i have planned for today, mind you, the ironing will prob take a lot of my time!!!
Better get DSs breakfast, hes loitering in the kitchen at the moment with a rumbly tummy!!!!
    Have a lovely day everyone
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Queenie, it's never cheap when they get to that age :)

ageandjo your start to the day sounded so lovely

cat can I come and play with the water too, it sounds so much better than my day?

This morning I want to sort out some cupboards as we are gathering so much rubbish. Then I have to take the car to the garage and leave it there, walk across town to the hospital for my 6 monthly check up. I may ask for a mammogram while I'm there as I'm getting some very strange pains in the remaining one. Then I have to walk home minus car :(

Luckily my friend from over the road is picking DD up from school for me and DS now has his own key so he can let himself in, he won't be on his own though as DH is here but will be asleep as he worked last night.

The X-Factor result was a bit of a surprise wasn't it?

    Hi All
overcast but warm here today and not looking to be a very OS day for me - but i did do a lot of OS stuf yesterday so i dont feel too bad.
Need to leave soon to get my dad to a hospital appointment - his old artificial hips are in a bad way - the bone around has crumbled a lot and he is in a lot of pain - going to see if they can be re-re-done or if its a matter of living with it .
No doubt that will take half the morning.

Then i need to pack as I am off on a work trip tomorrow till friday.

Must just tell you that yesterday i intended to make one of the recipes off here where you boil cans of condensed milk to make butterscotch tart. I found recipe for banoffee pie on the side of the carnation can and decided to do that instead. wow its fab but golly soooo sickly. very easy though if anyone fancies trying it.

i hope everyone with problms/poorlies are feeling better today

    Morning everyone.

I've got to go and spend money on myself today  I went to put my trainers on this morning and found that I've got 2 small holes on both trainers where they've worn through at the side  I have had them since January (I think) and I wear them 99% of the time so I think for £8 I've done quite well :rotfl: This time though I'm going to walk up to JJB (about 30 minutes the speed I walk!) and invest in some Reebok or similar as the last "quality" pair I had last 12months ;)

Right now I need to go and sort out DD's face ...
