    Hi all.
Haven't been online much as I'm trying to get on with my day, but had to log on a short while ago as I was soooo stressed http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=2259655#post2259655
I woke this morning with a bit more energy than usual so got a load in the W/M abnd tidied my bedroom (dumping ground so a major task). Took DS2 to practice with his band and DS3 to park (on route so make the most of petrol used:cool: ) I read up on community trade ready for tomorrow while DS3 enjoyed himself.
Made lush sarnies with H/m bread (white with sunflower & pumpkin seeds & walnuts) before darting off to ASDA. Feeling really tired so was going to splash out on cooked chicken and salad - but not a single lettuce left! Thankfully found this out after I had found 3 reduced chicken passanda's - at only 50p each! :money:
Shopping came to under £70, so not a bad start to the week for me, but I have had to up the petrol to £30 to cover taking DS back and forth to band practice.
Well, loads to do so best get on - best wishes and hugs to all, especially those nursing colds/little uns with chicken pox/ panic attacks. None of these are any fun in this weather - hope all is better soon.

Someone burst my bubble and I lost the plot so no idea what I spent now... :(I will try to work it out.
    Other Jan :- Petrol £20.41, Clothes £8.50, House £3.

    Evening all!

Been a busy weekend as I've been working.

Catowen I'm so glad you're on speaking terms with your Mum again, I got to the bottom of the problem with my mum thanks to my sister, turns out she was feeling neglected because we hadn't been down to see her much the last week and then when I couldn't help her out the 2 times she asked that really put the finishing touches to it all:rolleyes: I do feel guilty but it is hard sometimes when we all have such busy lives but I really must make more effort in the future.

Was very stressed out earlier thanks to DS1, having serious problems trying to get him to revise and his exams start in earnest this week!

PP well done on sticking to your guns with your DD, its not easy and they're good at laying on the guilt aren't they!

Enjoyed watching strictly dance fever last night, the one winner Hollie is a local girl and lives about 5 miles away from us.will really miss it, but am looking forward to the world cup!

catch you all in the morning before work!:D
    Do what you love :happyhear

Had our lunch in garden and a glass of my virgin wine (white - drinkable- ive got to say the virgin wine ive had is terrible stuff! I dont think I will be buying anymore from them! )

Dont ironing, watched top gear, sat reading up on here when DS1 comes home and wants to introduce me to his new girlfriend! - I am sitting in t-shirt, shorts, hair tied back and scruffy!!! - he says to her - oh she's not looking her best! cheek eh? thats my boy! he does make me laugh -ha ha

VickyA - glad you enjoyed london, just telling my DH about yr dad and his freedom of city - and he mentioned about him coming up with his sheep too!
yes st pauls is getting pricey since theyve renovated it, do what bargainrzl says go for a service then its free, there was some 2for1 offers online at some point.

TM - glad you had a nice BBQ, lovely picture- that must be yr DS4yr? he looks a sweetie - like all little boys do aahh - Nels you look very tanned!

nikki - enjoyed your website and your lovely plants. I think i must be growing Toy Plants here due to the amount i am accumulating!!! the egg-tonic is that just for roses? never heard of that before, my mum used to always just the used t-bags on the roots and she always had lovely roses so maybe she has a point??? better try that.

I tried to post earlier but DD was looking over my shoulder saying I sounded like a whinger!

Yesterday I took another DD(12) out for a day (it is a week of half term!) spent quite a bit of time getting new trousers for Grandad!

Got home and just about to set off for hospital when phone rang! Grandad - what's wrong?

"just wanted to see if you were coming tonight as no one has beeen visiting for days!!!!"

WE have never missed a day of visiting!!!!!

Went down last night as usual and my Dad had had a good day!!!

He completly forgot the long conversation we had that night and is convinced that he is being neglected!

What does worry me is that if he forgets that - what if he gets home and puts the gas hob on etc. etc. ?

Now worried sick and a "bad person!"

    elona,

You are not a bad person or a whinger!

It's clear from reading your posts just how much you care for your Dad and how much you are doing for him. You must be completely exhausted, both mentally and physically. I can't offer any practicle advice other than to remind you to look after yourself too. :grouphug:

elona - you are far from a being a "whinger" ((hugs)) and most definately *not* a bad person!

I echo Pinks sentiments that you need to remember to take a little extra care of yourself right now too. Difficult, I'm sure, under the circumstances, but very necessary.

Positive vibes being sent your way. ((hugs))

The egg-tonic I've only used on roses so I don't know what else it can be used on. I also remember used tea-bags being used on stuff in the garden but I can't remember what it was now  I know my grandad used to save the cold tea out the tea pot and water his indoor plants with it. We don't really make pots of tea in this house otherwise I would do this too!

Elona - :grouphug: I agree with Pink and Queenie. It's obvious you care alot for your Dad. :grouphug:

Well I've spent most of the day trying to do ebay listings. We ended up with pasta in white sauce for tea as the chicken wasn't defrosted, I'll cook the pie tomorrow instead. Now I'm off to make packed-lunches for tomorrow as I've only just noticed the time. :o

    Night night all
