Shez - I have been following SW - not going though just being very disciplined!!

I'm having a luxury manicure done tonight £8 at my local college looked in local salon and it's £25

Is there another OS meet arranged? I feel left out some of the time as a few of you know each other - would be nice to say hello, even just a day meet?
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

Well i am looking after a friends little girl all day. Her and DS are just hugging and kissing all the time i will have to watch them ( only 4 years old )
    Bless

My little brother had lots of girlfriends at that age! Milked it for all he could get as well... Mum remembers him coming home from school saying "I don't need to learn to tie my laces even though I'm four and three quarters. Rachel is only four and TWO quarters and she ties them for me" :rotfl:

P.S. He's now nearly 21 and still has big blue eyes that make women go weak at the knees - like his dad

Why don't you see if you can work out who's in your specific area and organise an informal one yourself? That's what I did the other week when SnowyOwl was around in London for a few days... we ended up with Shez and Catznine there too!

I'm heading off to visit Nelski tomorrow, and then we are both going to see Ticklemouse the next day :D This is cos the three of us got on so well together at the OS meet in Blackpool :D

A lot of us have met each other now in various surroundings, but you mustn't feel left out cos you haven't :) Being on line talking to the same people every day is like meeting us all anyway :)

It's getting rid of us that's the problem :D

Well we got a phone call just after 11.30 to go and view what I can only describe as a rabbit hutch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kitchen was part of the lounge and so small it was unbelievable, cooker provided, but no room for a fridge freezer, just a fridge. Bedroom was not too bad fairly decent size, large cupboard fitted out as a wardrobe, reasonable bathroom with shower over the bath. A further cupboard in the hall with the flue pipe from the heating going up through it making it unsuitable for anything......the airing cupboard was so small I do not think you could get more then 1 set of linen in it. There was a communal laundry and outside the laundry there was an area where you could hang clothes out......OH stood at the window and I could feel the vibes coming off him!!!!!!!!!!!! We have just spent 20 minutes doing a pro and con and there were far more cons.......we will stay where we are and carry on struggling financially.

Why do councils think that the elderly want to live in such conditions!!!!! I certainly do not........

Right, we are off to Tesco to do our shop..................

    Afternoon all,

    Raining here in Shropshire :(

Been a busy bee this morning - following rooms cleaned: dd's, bathroom, ours - may not sound much but trust me it is :)

Finished dd's curtains last night :j DH did some more of her wallpapering - so we are getting there - slowly, but we are getting there :)

Washed my office curtains last night and am now in the process of starching them and ironing them. Never used spray starch so far, so let's hope they do what it says on the can  . My ma made the curtains for my office just before DD was born, I bought the spray starch ... erm ... 2yrs ago and erm ... I've just got around to doing it :o .

Once they've been done, I may just get around to thinking about hemming the curtains in the snug. (Bit of a theme huh!) Only then, will I start thinking about curtains for the hall and dining room.

    B - cup of coffee
    L - asparagus
D - dunno yet, but rhubarb crumble for pud.
    GC - March 2024 -

I printed off the weetabix brownie recipe last week, but didn't get chance to make them due to being ill. Catznine just reminded me about them. If they don't take too long to do, I might do them at lunchtime or maybe tonight while BF is out.

I have just made a double batch of weetabix brownies and they are very easy to make and delish to eat! Can recommend them also made the weetabix cake recipe and that really is very easy! Hope you feel better soon!

I have a heat pad against my neck/shoulder (tied in place with a t towel! very chic!;) ) but it is soothing the pain nicely! Thank you Aussie lass!

Telewest have just been out as we lost the England match the other day  and can't have that happen over the weekend! We have had a lot of bother with telewest and are seriously thinking of changing to bt and sky, need to do some research to find out if we will save money as we have broadband as well.

Just got a lovely fat quarter in the post today and together with some others I want to make some cushion covers up. I have Nemo ones for my friends little girls and a retro theatre ticket one for dd.

    Catz x

Warning to those who are going to make the weetabix brownies - I have just eaten three in one sitting! SO be warned they are very very nice.

I have justified it becoz I am having a v stressful day, still havnt finished paperwork that should have been finished by 11, phones keep ringing and tesco order didnt turn up as delv man said he rung the bell & it wasnt working!!! I then had to phone the helpline 3 times as was promised a call back each time but noone bothered. Its being delivered tomm now but I really needed some of it for tonight - dd has friends round. SO then had to pop to local shop to pay their extortionate (sp) prices for stuff for tea tonight.
    (Also bell is working)

Sorry for the rant its def one of 'those' days today. Anyway think will eat another brownie & get on with it.

Hugs to those who are ill.

    Hi all,

just a little note to stop you wondering why I wasn't doing any motivation lately.

I'm sorry but we've all come down with this bug so everyone has retired to bed and a bucket.

I'll be back as soon as I can.
