    Good Morning

Sun was shining here first thing but appears to be hiding, hopefully it will stay dry as I too want to get some washing done today - 3 loads.

So far havnt done much, just loaded WM unloaded DW and cleaned kitchen surfaces. Now in office for a least a couple of hours as need to do some urgent invoices but phone keeps ringing with work problems so everything is taking twice as long.

Was about to start but have a sudden hunger so will go and make some marmite on toast - think will work better then.

So off now - hope you all have a good day, hope its goes better at the hospital today PP.

    B - marmite on toast.
    L - Tuna Salad
D - kids & friends peking duck, oh & me pork belly strips coated with sage and onion stuffing.

    Hello everyone,

Just kicking back before I go and have a shower. DH has left and DD not home yet. Got stuck into the bookwork today. I'm making headway. Off to the shops tomorrow & bit the bullet & have an appt with another hairdresser. :D
Made a pumpkin quiche for tea tonight which was yummy followed by Black Saturns' fruit cobbler. A few more push ups . :p

It's pretty cold here tonight. I have to make up my menu & my shopping list later on. Think I'll do it in bed with my hot water bottle. Nothing on telly tonight. I'm off for a surf. Have a great day & ((((hugs)))) to those who need them. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning :hello:

Have been enjoying a second morning's lie-in although today I woke at 9:10 which IMHO is a bit more respectable than yesterday's 10:15 and gives me a reasonable prospect of getting stuff done.

Anyhow, part of the reason I slept late this morning was that I got some more tidying and filing done. Remember I said I did ALL my personal filing yesterday? Well, just as was about to go out through the front door, I found another box full of paperwork and magazines  so before I went to bed I sorted that out, filed what needed filing, and put together another bag of waste paper to go out for recycling this morning.

Today - lots more junk and clutter to get through. And I am (surprise, surprise) going out to a concert this evening. Tonight is the last night of the mad rush that is my June musical life. I have a ticket for something on Saturday evening, and a couple of things at the end of next week, but nothing like it has been over the last few weeks - I have been to 16 events in 22 days :eek:

RozV - LOL. You have clearly been carrying out a methodical and detailed study ;):D

PP - sorry you are not feeling too well. Maybe for your daughter's parents' evening you could make an effort to look as smart and businesslike as possible? Yes, I know it shouldn't be YOUR problem to try to make sure that people see you rather than the wheelchair, but don't you think it would do your confidence good?

nicki - (((hugs))) to your little DD.

Right, must get on and stop watching the chav parade (sorry, I mean the Jeremy Kyle Show - is it me or is it a LOT chavvier than Vanessa or Trisha used to be?)

    Catch you later,

Rzl xx (LOL nearly typed "Rxl zz")

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning! :hello:

Trapped a nerve in my neck so having to move very slowly today! So slow that I missed putting out the recycling box in time  it was glass and tins this week so will have to get OH to take them with him to the dump with the garden rubbish.

I have just sorted out loads of plastic carrier bags for our local charity shop, was shamed into it after reading a thread on the green board :o have dug out my fabric bags and will pop them into the car.

I bought 2 ready cooked chickens for £5 from Asda at the weekend and after having a roast dinner, a stir fry, chicken salad wraps, have made some lovely cream of chicken soup with so much meat it was more like a stew! Still have lots of meat left so will have to decide what to do with it. Curry or lasagne?

Plan to make the chocolate weetabix brownies today and to finish off my knitting project.

Nice to see you back Catowen! Sorry about the weather!

Hope everyone has a good day!

    PurplePrincess It's already there.;)

Catzine Hope your neck gets better soon. Sounds painful. Is warm wheatbags any relief?

Nelski If the weather is nice, suggest the park. :D

BargainRzl I'm shocked. Fancy you going out tonight. Enjoy yourself.

PP You'll be fine. Don't feel scared. ((((((hugs))))))

Now that I've swished :D (I love that word Snowy) I'll go and do that shopping list. Catch ya later.
