Not feeling too bad today. I was completely useless last night because I was so tired. After my bath I flopped on the bed and went to sleep. We were going to plan the trips we want to take the girls on over the summer....but the plan is to do that tonight. Unless we forget of course.

We have enough tesco points saved up for at least 2 trips. Possibly more like 3. And with luck I'm hoping to get a bowling trip out of it too. As we're now having the girls for 2 weeks (1st we're on hols too, 2nd they're on their own) it would be good to go bowling one day to break things up for them.

    Breakfast: branflakes
    Lunch: Nibbling
Tea: Turkey breast fillets, new potatoes, peas & carrots.
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.

    Morning everyone.

I'm off work again today. I don't know what has got into me this year as i usually only have a couple of days off in a whole year. They will end up blacklisting me.

I woke up at 3 with horrible pains in my stomach, and was kept awake by them. I'm putting it down to working too hard, followed by a horrible curry we had last night. We don't often go out for meals with friends, but we tried a restaurant last night, the food was awful, the woman wouldn't let us order quite what we wanted, and it cost us a fortune for the privilege. Needless to say i won't be going back. The plan had been that me and DH would just go and eat, but some people were really late (students - missed the bus), and the service was really slow, particularly bringing us the bill, so we didn't get home till 11:30. _pale_

I managed to sleep till 10 and only woke up because next door were messing about up a ladder, and i thought it was the cats wrecking the place with the noise. I think i will try to do as little as possible today, and if needed take tomorrow off work too. It may only be 3 and a half weeks left, but that is a long time if i'm under the weather. Roll on!!

If someone has seen my energy, can they give it a nudge back this way please as i have so much to do, and don't think i will possibly get there at this rate. Think i might go back to the Dr to talk to him again because i am not even managing full weeks at work, and my personal life might as well have a big zilch next to it. And that is without taking the pregnancy into account.

Hope you all manage to achieve your targets for the day.

    Michelle, xx

Morning all (just about still the morning).

I haven't been around for a few days as I've been a bit poorly. Nothing serious, just one of those double-ended bugs. Sorry, that's probably too much info, especially at lunchtime.

Am working from home today, so had a bit of a lie in. Haven't managed to do a great deal except empty the DW and also empty the TD (was raining here earlier), but then I am supposed to be working, so shouldn't feel too guilty.

I printed off the weetabix brownie recipe last week, but didn't get chance to make them due to being ill. Catznine just reminded me about them. If they don't take too long to do, I might do them at lunchtime or maybe tonight while BF is out.

Talking of BF, he cooked a roast dinner last night (first one ever). He even phoned his mum up to find out how to make the yorkshire puddings. I was very impressed.

We haven't had roast chicken for ages and I'd forgotten how many meals we can get from it. We had last night's dinner, used quite a lot to make today's sandwiches (bacon, egg, chicken, mayonnaise and parsley) and will be having chicken wraps for dinner tonight. It was only a small chicken (cost about £2.50) but will hopefully do tomorrow's sandwiches too.

Right, well, best do some work and then off to have lunch and dig out the weetabix brownie recipe.

:grouphug: to everyone that needs them. PP and Catowen, hope you both get on OK at hospital.

Charlotte - could you tell me what a yummy mummy diary is please? Soz if I've missed it in another thread - doing the F/L thing means I'm not spending as much time reading on here.... Is it a normal diary that you use to do all the bits you mention?
Nicky - Give your little girl an extra hug for me. My eyes filled up reading your post. It's so hard to see your little one hurt like that - but perhaps it's a good thing that she is 'grieving' as it shows that she is trying to deal with it, wheras with a lot of people it hits a lot later. It sounds as though it's taking it's toll on you too without you realising it. Be kind to yourself with plenty of 'me time'.
Roz - have a fab moving day. At least now when you clean it will only be after you and your OH! No more 'trails' of muck to contend with!
Michelle - sorry to hear you're feeling so rough today. I'm not suprised that you're tired though - I found my pregnancies exhausting, though lovely. It is important to rest A LOT when you're expecitng. My Nan allways reminded me at those times that when pregnant you should 'never stand when you can sit, never sit when you can lie down'. Listen to your body - it's very good at telling you what it needs.

Lots of hugs and good wishes to all - especially PP at the hospital again today.

    Best get back to it,
    Kaz x
PS Nelski - if you think that the offer of the park might be turned down then you might find this bit of the F/L will give you a bit of guidance..

This will be the first time that I have gone to a formal meeting in my wheelchair and some people treat you so differently-its embarrassing!

Run over their toes! How dare they be mean to one of the the OS gang?!

Greetings from the leafy but dull Cheshire suburbs - have been lurking, but decided to join in today :)

Am in work, WM on before i left, dishes done, cat hoovered, carpet stroked (did i say that right?!)
crunchy oat cereal with yogurt & strawberries for brekkie (good for cholesterol)
pitta bread with tuna apple & celery in curry mayonnaise for lunch
chicken curry for tea (or maybe impossible corn & chicken pie..... )

i have a date with my ironing basket tonight - it's been put off so many times I've got nothing left to wear :)
Have confirmed interview time for Friday - lucky i'm already off to move DS1 from one end of Leed to the other so don't have to try & get a day off agreed.
I also need to put all his books into melon boxes from ASDA (Note to me: pick up melon boxes on way home from work!) so they stack nicely.

Best go & do a bit before i spill my sandwich filling all over my desk :rotfl:
