Morning All
Been up since 6am but only just managed to get on the "puter". DD woke again last night at midnight, when I went into comfort her she was soaked through. That ment I had to change her which disturbed her alot but she went back to sleep after 20 minutes which was abit of a result. Will keep going, hope we have it cracked by next Saturday as we are going out for the evening and my dad is babysitting.
Plan for the day is
3 loads of Washing
FLC in the kitchen
Invantory the freezer
Massive pile of ironing.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Hello everybody,
I'm sitting here tonight with conditioning treatment in my hair with a shower cap on encased with hot towel. DH has just informed me today he would like to go to his school re-union on Saturday night. I have a cold sore the size of ping pong ball dripping off my nose & hair (thanks hairdresser from hell) looking like witchy poo.I wonder if 4 days of sit ups could wipe away all the cakes & puddings I've been cooking from the OS board lately. Thanks girls.
Me thinks not.
The plus side is it's in my home town (DH moved there when he was 12) & I will go and see where Mum's ashes have been placed. They are right next to Dad's in the wall behind the church. I have no other relatives there now except for the *Evil One* & her family. That's my older sister, who I haven't spoken to in a v v long time. Families, don't you love em.
Cat Welcome back, we all missed you.
Ronankfan Whatever you do, don't wash that hand.
Moggins That's great news about DD.
Teresita Welcome to OS. What's panzanelle? Sounds interesting.
PenPen I saw you on the news tonight.:D Well that's what I told DH.
(((hugs)))) to everyone else. I better go and have a shower. Catch up later. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Good morning all
Catowen, welcome back to rainy UK!, welcome teresita, good luck today P-P hugs to rchddap1 and ancasta and anyone else who wants one. Moggins, good to know DD is feeling better.
Well, we got a bit of good news here in the madhouse today. Just been told we will be getting CT benefit. Only £6 a week but better than nothing! And since Aberdeen has the highest rate of CT in the country (at least, in Scotland) we will take all the help we can...And we don't have to pay first installment til next month....so I can take a bit of money to London with me!!!! :j
An update on the omlette saga... no, OH didn't eat his bit yesterday. He's a weird fish when it comes to eating. And no, nothing came of the cup of tea in bed (worst luck).
Today is the day I try and sort out reapplying for Tax credits so wish me luck...

Panzanelle are deep fried pizza dough. They are dilish and puff up so u can fill them. I love them with cream cheese ans parma ham.
Yummmmm could eat them now.
TAlthough I get lonely  as a single mother there are always two smiling angels ready to give me the biggest hug in the world. Love you babies :grouphug:
Fear is a disease....Hope is it's only cure!0 -
Morning all :hello:
I'm up and at them today, at least I am if you ignore the fact that I slept through the radio alarm this morning and fell back asleep briefly after my phone alarm went off only to wake at 6.55am and dive out the bed a bit too fast when I realised OH would soon be in the bathroom until 7.30 :rotfl:
Beds are made (hospital corners on our top sheet  whats up with me? ), bedrooms have been aired and tidied up (Even DD managed to make her bedroom "Mummy tidy" this morning without being asked), livingroom has been picked up and if it wasn't for laundry (including hangers) in various baskets around the livingroom and kitchen then the place would look great :j I haven't washed the breakfast/supper dishes yet BUT I'm waiting until after my dinner as I have leftovers in the fridge in a tupplewear container which means I only need to mess up a fork so I'll save the washing up until then. Must put the ovendish in to soak though first...disappears off...comes back...laundry from yesterday is out on the line/rack airing. I've even been to the shops for apples. What is up with me? I blame the Flylady thread :rotfl:
Plans for today are to get the paperwork sorted, stillNeed to have a good look at the Tax credits that we've been sent. Apparently we're only entitled to £547 and they want to claim back £465.09 so with one thing and another we're not entitled to money this year  Time to visit the website and sit down with pen and paper I feel. Maybe appealing this time around. I'm sure we're being fiddled somewhere.
Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Hi everyone
(((hugs))) to everyone who kneeds them & (((hugs))) to those who don't 'cos hugs are always nice:D
I haven't been around much recently, had a few issues to sort out but thought I would pop in & let you know that I am still around & have made a BIG decision.....I am not going back to work next month when my maternity leave is up! I am going to be a full time Mum for a while longer. Financially it will be hard as we will be going backwards by £250 a month but we have a slush fund to cover this shortfall for at least another year & probably longer if no big expenses crop up.
Now I just have to work on my perfect hosuewife rountine........I will need you guys big time to help me with this:D:o:rotfl::APost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -

Moggins am glad your DD is feeling better:D
I havent read the flylady challenge thread yet, is it too late to join?
apparently just stopped raining as OH has called me to come and pick some of the hedge cuttings up! I always get that job
TTFNDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hello everyone
It's actually not raining here for a change, so I have washing on the line. It's still flippin' cold though
Got soooo much to do today, so why am I sitting here reading MSE? I dunno, but I am having a cuppa, so what the heck
Mr TM is away now until Friday night - taking a school trip to France. I would say it's great to have the bed to myself, but DS2 has got into the habit of appearing about 1am. I was going to shoo him back to his bed last night but fell asleep immediately only to be disturbed from about 6am when he started wriggling. I've told him tonight IS the night he will go back into his bed(if I can be bothered that is)
Lots and lots of general cleaning and tidying to do. moggins: the Forth bridge is about rightI'd love to do set things on set days but I fear today's lifestyle doesn't fit in - we have soooo much stuff nowadays that everything seems to take much longer, we all have so many more clothes that we wear for less time, so I couldn't manage with washing on 1 day, hoovering only on 2 days etc
Maybe in 20 years when the boys have flown the nest
Righty ho, off I go. Welcome back cat and newbies, ((hugs)) to the sickies and tired ones.
Have a great day.
