As I recall moggins did suggest shifts, so you'd do the same hours but just different times:rotfl: :rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0

Hope you don't mind my suggestion - but a water spray bottle is your best friend at this moment in time - spray water in the air, it'll trap the dust and bring it down out of the air quickly.
All my ironing done :j . Just hemming dd's curtains .... yawn.
England won ? Wondering idly who they were playing and more importantly how the Grand Prix is progressing ...
Have a good evening all ...GC - March 2024 -0 -

Moggins isn't this the second time in a short while that DD has been poorly?
My DS2 had it twice too!:( within about a month. He's ok now after a few weeks of probiotic drinks.I really hope she picks up soon!
Had a terrible nights sleep last night, tossed and turned all night. Was up at 7 to go to a car boot then fetched DS2 from his sleepover followed by another carbooty! never bought a thing! took DS2 to a party this afternoon then got back to watch the footy:j before cooking tea and going to water Mums plants - she's in Truro for a couple of days for a family celebration!
Am now well and truly knackered so am planning a soak followed by a relax in front of the TV;)

Good Evening All
Had very lazy day here today but did clean house completely from top to bottom yesterday and was completely knackered at then end. Went to a party last night which was brill and had a lay in this am.
Went to our caravan today and cooked a huge fry up for dinner then watched the football in the pub. So all in all a very nice day. Feel very relaxed and ready for the week.
Will endevour to keep on top of housework and get back on the menu planning wagon. Also want to do some baking, need to take something in to school for the fete next weekend so will experiment with the Malt Loaf & Brownie receipes - must make a note to buy some weetabix tomm.
Hope you all have a lovely evening.
Shez - that reminded me my Nan used to reguarlly take us on the Woolwich Ferry for a lovely trip - she also used to get on any old bus and see where we ended up - we loved it.0 -
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Pooky and Glad :bdaycake:
Did anyone see PenPen? I hope she had a good time.
Many thanks for all your good wishes, :A yes, OH and I have split after 25 years.
I think our families cannot quite believe it. We are both being positive, there is no ill feeling at all, I am very happy to say. It is just one of those things that was going to happen one day and the day finally came. We had a long talk discussing the options available to us and this was a joint decision. At the moment I think we are both a bit curious about what it will be like living on our own. I have done so before, OH previously shared flats etc. It is going to be interesting.
This afternoon has been spent chuckling at the things we "put away" years ago and forgot about. So much junk! I've taken the attitude that if I lived without it this long I don't really need it. Fortunately the things I hoarded because we had 2 of them are now of use.
Packing is going very well but now I need to clear the huge desk my computer lives on so I can use the space. If I can get the laptop working I'll be in and out as usual, if not, see you all after my move
Hugs to you all.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
Proud to be a chic shopper
