    Good morning everyone!!!!!

Well, back to earth with a bump after our wonderful holiday!!!! We have had a brilliant time, very tierd now tho, still on USA time!!!!! Got back yesterday, and still havnt finished sorting out, but at least the house was tidy when we got home (its not now  ) but we brought so much great stuff back with us!!! Of course, the weather has been wonderful here, but now we are back home (and i put washing out last night) it has done nothing but rain!!!! We had lovely weather in Florida, 88 - 92 every day, so ive come back to earth with a bump with all this rain!!!!
Well, the plan for today is to go to Tescos, as we have no food, and also use their digital photo shop, and get all my photos printed out. Must then finish sorting all the washing out and putting the packing away. Will hopefully have a rest then, when the little ones (3 here today) have a sleep as im still on USA time (i think its 2.45 in the morning at the moment!!!)
Hope everyone is well, as i havnt had chance to look at the last 2 weeks to see what has been going on, so hugs to eveyone.
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Good morning everyone!

PP - did you have a good holiday? (sorry - you have probably posted all the details over the weekend, & I am too lazy to sort through all the posts!!! If you have written screeds about it, let me know what day & I will search through!!!) Hope all goes well today.

    Snowy - I am all agog waiting for moggins's much-anticipated whatever-it-is, too!

We had a lovely weekend. A wedding and a birthday! (hence me not being on here) Our friends' daughter was married - lovely service & then lunch afterwards in a village hall in a beautiful part of the country: the Dorset/Devon border (actually the wedding was in Lyme Regis in Dorset, the reciption a couple of miles away just over the border!) The weather was glorious!. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay for the barn dance, as we needed to get to Portsmouth to see DD & family - she and OH were going out in the evening & needed babysitters!
Then yesterday it was our DGD's birthday party - she was 2 on Friday. It was really lovely to spend time with them all; the baby is nearly 1 & is growing very fast... and crawling very fast!

All in all a very nice weekend.

Now we are home, it's back to the rain! The washing is in TD, and as we are off on holiday Thursday I need to get everything ready. At least the house is in a fairly reasonable state owing to the FL challenge!

Have a good day all of you!!!

    Morning all,

DD is MUCH better, in fact I can't believe how much better, she is staying off school today just to be on the safe side but will be back to school tomorrow. The doctor yesterday advised letting her eat if she was hungry instead of starving her and although we did have a few more episodes she eventually started to keep things down and that lucozade worked wonders.

    Aussielass I owe you one!

I will let you all in on the snippet later, we in the SW lost Telewest for most of yesterday thanks to two manic workmen cutting through a cable somewhere.

Just off to get dressed, ring DD's school and get a few jobs done and then I will be back, just as long as DH doesn't get to the computer first and keep me off all day again.

    Hi there folks

Weather not too hot here either. No rain as yet but not far away me thinks. Another day in the house for me and the 2 bambinos as I want to keep to my new resolution of cleaning a room a week to make the house presentable. Also if am no where near shops I dont spend.

Todays food is pretty much in the house except some double cream so will get the other half to pick some up on the way home.

Intend to start the shopping challenge from the 1st of July and no idea what a realistic amount will be as spend a fortune at the min.

    Todays menu is as follows:

Breakfast: Toast / teacakes and coffee

    Lunch: courgette fritters

    Dinner: carbonara and panzanelle

    Have a nice day

    T
Although I get lonely  as a single mother there are always two smiling angels ready to give me the biggest hug in the world. Love you babies :grouphug:

I blamed him............:D

    Morning all

Cat - Great to see you back - Glad you had a nice time.

Ancasta - When's the wedding?? How are you doing with your weight loss?

    Anyone seen PurplegirlUK lately????

Rainy and grey here this morning.....luckily I didn't remember to put the washing out when we got in yesterday so it went over airers before going to bed last night and was mostly dry this morning...towles are just having 10 mins in the tumbly to soften them up, along with some jeans that just need finishing off.

House has been hoovered, dusted, the kitchen's tidy and the floors just drying from a quick mop over. Beds are all airing...I've made up a spray that we use in the mornings when the beds airing, just a light spritz to freshen them up....it's an orange oil.....5 drops in a big squirter bottle full of water...give it a good shake and it's sooooooo refreshing..makes the bed smell lovely.

DD's have been very hormonal and grumpy all weekend, think they might be over tired, will try putting them to bed early tonight and see if that helps.

Right I'm off to spend the day doing something "I" want to do, I'm sure it will involve a dvd and a huge cup of tea.....but hey, it was my birthday yesterday...(how many days do you think that will work ......hey, it was my birthday 6 weeks ago last Sunday.....no...shame)

Hope you all have a great day.
