    Morning, all!

Just a quickie, Palace do was fantabulous. DS met Charlie Higson (who is writing a series of books about the young James Bond), DD met her absolute favourite writer, Mallorie Blackman, who was absolutely charming, and I met Julian Fellowes (actor, writer and director of amongst other things Gosford Park, and wrote stuff for Matry Poppins musical), lovely man.

However, I was completely smitten by Huw Edwards, who was charming, handsome, and gorgeously Welsh. Kept swooning when I saw him on the big screen, much to DD's embarassment! We discussed Dr Who.

Picnic was delicious. Children mobbed when they got back to school (hour late, as we set off early this am, rather than get back very late last night).

    Will post properly later!

Bargain Rzl, thats after ive lost the 5stone so you can see i need to lose alot more! although im down to a size 18 ish now which im very happy with. It just wasnt a very flattering picture, it was celebrating my 23rd birthday, after i had drank 23 bottles of strongbow (to celebrate y'know) a bottle of wine and half a bottle of apple liquer *blush* im not photogenic but its the only picture i have of us together. Paul looks drunk as i am but he had only had 1 mouthful of brownale!!!

We live near Houghton so its a fair hike up to otterburn for the wedding but Paul's originally from up that way so its not too bad.

Small world almost eh? someone 'down south' knows where im talking about ;)

    Hello everyone.

Well I'm going 2 steps forward 3 steps back today:cool: . WM has stopped working for some reason  . Stopped yesterday late afternoon with a wash in it. Have had to send DS to school in shorts cos no school trousers, all in wash, no spares cos he tore the knees in 3 pairs last week:rolleyes: and at this time in the school year I wasn't prepared to replace.

Sausage cass in SC using up some veg I had.
Found a sachet of jelly decided to use up and ended up tipping it down me instead and of course can't wash the clothes due to WM:mad:

Have tidied round the rooms I FL'd last week. If I can manage to do hallway at some point that will be all downstairs done.

TM- I used to have that problem with clothes when DS went to PM nursery, out of PJs into 1st set of clothes, change to school uniform for 1pm, change again when he came home either into 1st set of clothes if they were clean, if not next set, then back into PJs at bedtime. drove me nuts I had a small baby at time too. It's amongst the reasons why I'm thankful that DD has AM nursery in Autumn.

ancasta - my OH is called Paul Vincent... don't think it's the same person though ;) All the pictures of wedding-y stuff are beautiful - the cake looks gorgeous!! And the diamond wedding ring is fab (looks like one we sell in the jewellers that I work in and is the one I want!!) Is the grooms ring Titanium? And the flowers are beautiful! Are you having real or silk? Sorry for gushing - I love weddings!!

lillibet - congratulations on your decision! I'd love to be a SAHM when I have kids but OH would need to be earning a lot more than he does now and I don't know if I'd like to be "supported" financially by someone else... I guess I won't know until the time comes to decide but I'm sure you'll continue to enjoy spending time with Spud :)

Everyone Else - have a good day

I've not got a lot else to say really!! Nothing to do today as everything is in boxes ready to move again tomorrow! Signing contract this evening...

ancasta - don't worry, I wasn't trying to suggest you look fat in the photo :D:rolleyes: You must be thrilled with the weight loss. You don't even look that drunk either :rotfl:

I don't know Otterburn all that well, as I say it's just cos my aunt and uncle have a cottage up there. It's their second home, they are both doctors in Whickham. Grandma's care home isn't exactly in Houghton, it's in Newbottle (same thing really - LOL!) ... and I'm not really from "down south" either, I was born and bred in Durham and didn't move to London until I was 21 ;) (I've found at least 1 MSEer who went to the same school as me, and another who now has kids there.)

    Hi Everyone

I had a really busy weekend. Went out Saturday night with my friend and we've come to the conclusion we're too old to be out then - we're only 22 and 25!! But the rest of the world seems to be 16. We did get ID'd though which cheered us up! And we got a good deal in a fast food place thanks to some flirting:D

Then we went strawberry picking yesterday - got strawbs, peas, spinach and gooseberries. We followed that with an exciting trip to Tesco! I managed to cut her spending down by half a trolley and introduced her to the land of owning a club card. She can be taught!!!!

Got heat stroke on Saturday where I went to the tennis - free of course! - in Eastbourne for the finals. Really bad headache for the rest of the day. Serves me right!!!

    Hope everyone's ok
