    Morning all!

Happy Birthday Pooky and Glad :D

Not a lot to do today as I seemed to work from dawn til dusk yesterday!! Just a few things to pack back into boxes ready for the move on Tuesday...

OH decided he wanted to pig out at half nine last night so I reluctantly agreed to take him down to Tesco (he'd had a drink so couldn't drive!!) and we ended up spending £7.83!! But it was all yellow-stickered stuff and we must have bought about £15 worth of stuff.

I got some real bargains including 2 packs of 2 minted lamb chops - 44p each reduced from £2.96 each!! And 2 packs of (not at all OS) mediterranian veg to go with it (45p each reduced from £1.99)... so tea tonight is lamb chops and veg at a total cost of 67p each (we'll have a pack of veg each and 1 chop - the other two have been frozen :) ) So my PIN money looks very healthy (unlike my NY fund - see below!)

Because I worked so hard yesterday there's nothing to be done today except make the bed when OH gets out of it, and cook tea tonight!! I may do some work on my household folder as I really could do with getting it done by tomorrow!!!

Have a good day to all

Thanks all, we're back from the hospital now, we just managed to park in time for DD to get out the car and throw up all over the road and my feet :(

She's now developed the diahorea (sp) I can never get that word right but you get the jist? The doctor made some carp joke about me poisoning her with my cooking (I hope he was joking anyway). Didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know but did take a wee sample in case she has an infection.

She's already thrown up twice since she's been home and he wants her weight monitored at the gp's. That should be fun. I'm just hoping this clears up quickly, he did say to keep feeding her this time which was a surprise, just pasta and chicken or fish and plenty of juice but every time she's tried the juice she's just brought it straight back up again :(

I would give the juice a miss if it was me, Moggins. Juice always made my three worse as well when they had that sort of bug. I'd stick to cooled boiled water. Do you have something over there called Lucozade? It's really good to put in water when you are down as well. Hope she get's better soon. It's awful when they are sick hey.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Now then, not too early for the shredder is it?
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Thank you, thank you, thank you, I am such an idiot! Why did I not think of Lucozade! I'm going to pop down the shop now and get some.

    Morning All (just)

Well sorry for not being able to keep up with the post this week.
Racy Red: ((((HUGS)))) though remember this is only the beigining.
Moggins and DD ((((HUGS)))) its so frustrating when all you can do is stand by, When my DS was ill the other week I found that a little coke warmed seemed to ease his upset stomach.

Have been working V. hard this week lots of 12hr shifts plus 4hrs travel. Though did manage to give the house a good clean on Friday before worek and is still clean, so just have the beds to change and beddig to wash and ironing to do. Though got to take DD to be measured for a first bra today:eek: (god where has the time gone).

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning ,
Just back from Asda's and no fantastic bargains this time round SIGH
I did dig up some new potatoes for tea so at least they were a bargain.
Our next door neighbour is having her woodwork painted by the neighbours on our other side so are having to take all their ladders across the gardens to get there. They are such nice people and would do anything for her. Makes us feel very humbled.
DH brought some big boxes home yesterday to use as drawers ,so that we can sort out our 'wardrobes' which are very deep pigeon hole type shelves , thats what'll be happening this afternoon.

Moggins ...Poor old DD :( and you too! I hope things get better soon.
Hello PP I hope you had a good hols
Happy birthday Pooky and Glad

    Bye for now

Moggins - my mum always used to give us diluted Lucozade when we were ill... It does say on the bottle that it is "not a suitable replacement for fluids lost during bouts of diaroeha (sp?) and vomiting, but it used to do the trick with us :)

    Afternoon :)

Just got back from church and am about to cook a late lunch (and the rest) - a big batch of asparagus risotto. Should get that all done and dusted before the match kicks off.

Moggins ((((hugs)))) to you and DD. But everybody else, looking at your posts I'd say you're on the verge of being told off by the forum team for giving medical advice - I know everybody's trying to help but you know what they're like :)

Jan - no yawning this morning - I wasn't tired even though I only got 4 hours sleep, as I'd slept so late yesterday. I do feel like I've got a bit of a throat/ear infection though - it all feels a bit puffy inside IYKWIM.

Right, got to go and cook. Am supposed to be helping housemate set up his new PC but he's out. Will be back later.

    Rzl xx
