snowy have you posted a thread with "What to do with burnt muffins?"
:TShez, you are an inspiration!! Yes, I have just created a thread as you suggest. :rotfl: Truly though, I don't want them to be a total waste, so you never know what useful suggestion may be made.0 -
Ah, the wine! Hmm....that's kind of not a very full bottle right now. If anybody wants burnt muffins please send me your address and I'll forward a dozen to you!0

Morning Moggins!
When you stick the mop where the sun don't shine your in your xh (can they really be ex "d" h?) ooops, wine kicking in, sozanyway, when you do, leave about a foot exposed and there you have it, ready made scarecrow
How OS is that!
I've just spent the evening sorting through years and years of old bills, bank statements and other assorted clutter. And later I have a big date...
with the shredder.
Breakfast was going to be strawberries, but I might just have to eat them now  and have toast when I wake up instead. Lunch carrots and hummus. Supper will be something rescued from the freezer.
I found my cake tins this evening! they have been missing since my kitchen was done, 3 years ago . Well how was I supposed to remember I boxed them up and put them in the glory hole  .
Today was division of towels, bedding and kitchen equipment, I lost the battle for custody of the George Foreman. but won my favorite skillet and most of the Le Crueset. I get the food mixer and blender coz I hid the instructions and OH has never used themNeither of us wanted the vacuum cleaner from hell so it is now in the car boot pile
I now have large packing boxes scattered all about the place and it s all begininng to be very, very real. 25 years... gone.
Focusing on the next 25 now.
Also Morning E'lass, tired mum, shez and snowy. I have a stardrops to my left and White Zinfandel to my right, Ladies, the choice is yours. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

mmm wine breakfast - room for a little one?
well im yet to go to bed, really should be but am still feeling quite awake, so im surfing for craft ideas online. im determined to make more 'me' time in my schedule, and i think i may take up a hobby or two to ensure this time isnt wasted on random stuff
plan for the day
*take strimmer line back to B&Q (wasnt needed)
*go to threshers to use wine voucher from last weeks paper (putting away in the xmas box)
*finish packing for our camping adventures (which begin monday)
*tidy up
*work in the afternoon. the joys of argos
hope you all have a good one :beer:know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Thought I'd post before bed as well, as I've been up drinking wine and chatting on MSN
and I don't know quite when I'll get the chance to log on tomorrow (well today, IYKWIM)
Racy, can I take it from your posts that you and OH are no more? ((hugs))
Today I was relatively productive given the fact that I only had 5 hours between waking up and going outbut did manage to: shop, waste £2 on local charity tombola without winning any wine, find elusive asparagus for risotto, do 2 loads of washing, put 1 on line, and probably some other stuff I can't now remember doing.
Tomorrow the agenda is this: choir practice 10am, church 11am, then (in an indeterminate order) cook asparagus risotto, watch footie, help housemate set up new laptop, get taken out for pub dinner by housemate as a thanks for helping with laptop.
Right this is ridiculous, it's 2:10am, I have to leave the house at 8:45 to get to choir for 10:00, so s'pose I should be signing off and going to bed (which by the way has not currently got any sheets or a duvet cover on it).
Byeeee
