Excellent, I shall store that recipe for future no-bread emergencies
Mrs T - I'm a size 6. Going to have a mooch in town later this week, as need to really see the shade of ivory the dress is made in. Ivory means a lot of things to lots of people!
Getting broody are we? My little man's a cute little angel-pants....until he's grouchy, it's 2am and I'm tired, and the dodi has disappeared. Then he's a hell-child brat. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

aww, well if I don't catch you, have a cuppa and try not to let the drive to exeter get you further down. You rock. Spoon of honey, in hot water with a squirt of lemon will help. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

ash is stunning no wonder you get all the assistants helping you ...still love reading your stuff your writtting style is amazing ...did you ever think of writting that book?0

Thought about it, started it ....on the hard drive the Father In Law (who joins the ranks of insultees - the great gibbering baboons pantyliner) nicked. and haven't got the heart to restart it. Still, I might just manage it once things calm down after the wedding. Trying not to parrot Martin though - want to make it more of a lifestyle thing, for women who don't think spending £100 on a handbag is ok, and that have 2 kids, stretchmarks and a bit of a pouch, a dog and are basically normal - most lifestye books I've read assume you live in london, earn over £45k a year and want the latest fashions right now, even thought they make you look like a mental patient let loose in the dressing up box.
But cheers for the kick up the backside lolThis year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I quite like Exeter, always feel as if i have hit the last run of the journey before seeing daughter in Cornwall.
He is gorgeous and will learn to use his megawatt smile to full advantage for the rest of his life..sigh.
Am posting before getting booted off for at least the forth time tonight..write the book.
am giving up now as had enough of trying to get back on site.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Well chicks
The dress has arrived._pale_ _pale_
It's......ordinary. It's a peachy cream colour, not ivory (actually suits me better) and the embroidery's lovely. But the skirt is shapeless, the lining tends to ride up, there's these weird boobie-holder/shoulderpads sewn inside to apparently hold me up that are in the wrong place, and the most important bit - the overlay that givs it that side ruching has been replaced by flat folds across the tummy. Its.....
HORRIBLE!!!!!
I'm sitting here trying not to cry. It's not a bad dresss - just not MY dress. It doesn't give me that lovely curvy shape, and basically is just a dress. And I have niether the time nor cash to get anything else. I'm scouring ebay for something suitable in the vain hope someone has listed the dress I want for something approaching 20p and a button.
PLus his grandma phoned today. Basically wants us to move the whole lunh thing to S!!!!horpe (30 miles away) for this bl**dy, tosswadding f-ing lunch becasue 'they can't leave the dogs'. And if we don;t they can't come to the reception in the evening.
I have had just about enough of this whole sodding wedding hing. I'm hating it. I just want to tell everyone to sod off and do it without me, because as it stands I'm going to be the frumpy one in the middle in the passable dress, hoiked over to the hell-hole that is S!!!!horpe for a lunch in his mum's back garden (whatever happened to 'you can't go to a park for photos, you'll get grass stains on your dress'), then hot-foot back again a few hours later to ensure the caterers (who I've never met or spoken to) set up right, sort out the DJ and inflate balloons set out table decoartions etc before the guests arrive.
So, if anyone wants the part of blushing bride, there's a vacancy, as I'll be taking the part of bemused onlooker. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hun my dress needs to be cleaned but you're welcome to borrow it!
at least you know what it looks like! And it would take care of the "something borrowed" bit
It's not ivory though but called Diamond White... You might need to get it shortened a little too so if you want to borrow it let me ASAP as you'll need to get cracking on the length bit...
Big hugs and cuddles!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
