    Excellent!!!
You gotta love Terry! The man is a legend... We tried to get little nac mac feegles for the kids to chase round and find and then we thought we'd name the tables but figured that tables with names like "Not-as-big-as-Medium-Sized-Jock-but bigger-than Wee-Jock-Jock" might confuse people... hehe

I love his stuff, but I do think he's gone off the boil recently - everything from after going postal onwards - thud was so bad I nearly stopped reading it.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

  • I think both of you look great. snivel, i don't think i will be able to squeeze back into my wedding dress. I found it in the attic, when searching for fleabay stuff. It is 23 years old, though and will probably break if i try too hard.

Well chicks, today is shaping up to be a day of ups and downs

Down: The home study source I signed up to seemed bit lightweight for what I was told by the compnay, so queried it, as apparently I've completed it (in 2 months, before I've even finished paying for it.) For a Level 4 NVQ I was concerned it wasn't in depth enough. Letter came today telling me, no, I had completed it. Rubbish course, no chance of being let near anyone's cuticles with the 'qualification' I appear to own (might as well draw my own in crayons - be worth more) So that's 2 months wasted, and I now know more about scabies than I am comfortable with.

Up: They're offered to refund the course fees, as I'm so happy. That's a bl*8dy good things because I'm going to need them.....

BIG DOWN: Barclays, depsite telling me they were chasing Ex hubby for the personal loan have passed it on, and today I got a nice big red letter asking me for £19,932.74. Immediately.

So basically my chicks, I'm back to square bl**dy one, but without the Beauty therapy qualification I wanted to earn the money to start saving. Not only am I back to being deep in debt, but it now means our move to Florida is looking at being a 10 year plan, not 3-5....I'm pretty gutted, but as I never got it in writing that they were going after The Sweaty Butt Crack, I only have myself to blame really. Guess they couldn't find him!

So, cracking with with a letter to write to these people, plus they say they received a judgement which is news to me. Has anyone got any advice on how to do something about a judgement you never knew existed? If I had known about it, I would have protested about the ex hubby owing at least part. Rest of the day will most likely be taken up with redoing the budget to send to these people, finding more stuff to ebay and trying not to cry in front of the kids.

I'm not upset about the money - I had the loan, and if Satan's Tampon spent it, then it's my fault for marrying a loser. I haven't got the energy to fight them about it, I just want to get it paid and get on with my life. I'm most upset that the life I want for my family seems to be getting further and further away - we'll never live in the sun at this rate! Every time you think you're straight comething else pops up. All I need now if for Rossendales to turn up on my doorstep and then that'll put a bl**dy big tin hat on the day.

Can't think of many ups - apart from being able to take my place back amongst you guys properly lol. I get to have a valid reason for getting funny about £2 coins I suppose.

I've broken out in a disturbing heat-rash type thing, scratching like it's going out of fashion. My best mate seems to think it's stress related - just hope it goes by the wedding! I have invested in some fake tan moisturiser stuff - our local pound store has Hawiian Tropic that smells like holidays, and considering it's going to be the closest we'll get for a while I can at least smell all coconutty!

So I really hope you guys have a better day than it's shaping up for me. I'm going to go get my beef stew on for tea (slow cooker jobby), get DD helping me sort clothes out for Ebay/small ads and try not to let it get me dwn. Getting upset isn't going to pay it off. Might have a cup of tea and a think....

Tip for today - every now and again, try to think of one new thing that will bring in some money. It might be signng up to a new daily click site, or clearing out on ebay, but it stops you getting complacent.

And smile. There's enough in your life to outweigh whatever life throws at you. I have my debt back, but I have my kids and hubby, my health and a good enough brain to get me out of the debt. So I suppose I win.

Rash sounds horrid hun - not being funny but did it start before or after you applied that tan stuff? Friend of mine used Johnsons holiday skin or whatever it's called for sensitive skin and came out in an all body rash!

It totally suck abotu them now wanting to chase you for satans butt cracks debt... yeah yeah I know it's a joint one etc etc but still... just when you thought you'd got back on top.
Can't advise much about the judgement, maybe contact the court where it was alledgedly issued? I don't suppose you can direct the DCA towards where ex hubby lives at all can you? Give them a helping nudge....

The rash came before - woke up yesterday with it - thought it was chicken pox at first!!!

I have no idea where The Thing From The Toilet U Bend is living, and the debt is all in my name - they were doing me a favour by chasing him, because of my circumstances, and the fact that some it of was spent by Ex on a car (I don't have a driving license). The end of the day t's owed, and depsite the bank giving me a break I suppose they're within their rights to ask for it back lol. They have frozen the interest at least, and I'll ask the debt collection people to send me copies of this judgement while I get my ducks in a row.

So, I'll post up a new SOA, and see if you guys can help me get my bills down even further - though when I do my shopping through Mysupermarket I rarely get more than £1 saving if I switch stuff around - I'm just too cheap.

Think I'll make some muffins with DD to cheer myself up - nowt like watching a small child licking out a bowl to cheer you up.

Not after he crashed it into a ditch and left it there as he had no tax.......after he left I might add. think it was in his name anyway.

Oh hell - so sorry - regardless of the legal situation of names on loans it is still so completely unfair! But you are right - balanced against all the great things in your life it pales - at the end of the day however bad it seems it is only money - you have been DF once and you will do it again. And delaying realising your dreams is just that - a delay - you'll still get there - just need to adjust the plan. Enjoy that muffin making ..... and eating! Sounds like the perfect cheering plan. Hugs.
