Hi guys, thanks for the massive boost. Was feeling bad, but now feeling actually quite good - kind of lightbulb all over again lol.

So done my budget, analysed my debt until the spreadsheets go and hide in the bathroom, and been listing ways of bringing money in, even the crazy-mad things. Got a clean babyfood jar all ready for my £2 coins - did have one in my pocket but it's gone walkies, so spent half an hour this morning looking for it - hmm, I'm getting that weird feeling again........

So all set, just waiting for Regal credit (Barclays) to fall at my feet and say yup, offer's fine lets crack on, Rossendales to provide evidence of this debt (Must remember to mow the lawn for the pigs to land on) and payday so I can get started.

I've even been so organised as to make a list of all the non-cash points like Lightspeed etc, work out what rewards I want for Xmas pressies and done a little spreadsheet to work out how far off I am. The way things are going, Xmas will be sorted by August, then I can make a start on getting stuff in for birthdays. I'm surprised actually at how the surveys and clicks add up! Cash total currently £80 odd quid, and I'm only a survey or 2 off a 'sunjar' thing that I'm getting for DD as a night light - 2 pronged saving as it means we won't be paying to have the landing light on all night, in case the monsters that apparently infest our house get into her bed! If you only do one thing today, join Ipoints. You get 10 point clickthough emails nearly every day as well as surveys, and are current my choice of cashback site to shop at asda (via mysupermarket) The rewards are pretty good the magazine subscriptions are a good idea for 'OMG you have everything including a gold plated egg timer' people in your life - naturally I'd love you to use my referral link if you do :) (not daft enough to post it here)

So chicks, all in all feeling pretty positive, even if MIL has gone ahead and bought DS his suit without asking/showing/telling us, and I may even have a charitable thought about The Fuzzy-Faced Greater Spotted TitWonker today - only for a second, and will involve sharpening the rusty knife before removing his kidneys to sell on Ebay, rather than using a spoon.

Tip for today - today I think you should give your washing machine a treat - take out the drawer, give it a rinse. Run a hot wash with white vinegar, or soda crystals (not sure if anything would happen if you did both together, but don't want to be responsible for your kitchen appliances exploding) Wipe the front, and check the rubber lining for damage/mould spots/change. It will love you, and maybe give you a bit better wash.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Oh the crazy head MIL hasn't just bought cakestand and DS suit - Shes got DD's outfit, posy and tiara, the table decorations, booked the caterers, chosen the menu and made it clear my dress sucks.

Yup, loan is a bummer, but hey ho there you go. Just more of a challenge!! Wrooarrrr bring it on!!! I blow raspberries at the loan, and wiggle my a3s at Rossendales. I throw eggs at people wanting my money, and make rude comments about Gordon Brown wanting the rest of it!!Wrroarrrr!

Quite simply really - she's a control freak!

I'd be tempted to dress DD and DS up as spiderman/wonderwoman or something and leave her outfits behind!

Lol, problem being none of the stuff she's chsen is hideous enough for me to put my foot down. Plus it seems to make her happy, and I've got to the point where I don't care - won't matter what we said anyway. When he told he he wasn't happy about her going and buying the table decorations, as we'd already ordered some she told him she wouldn't take them back, but them once we'd cancelled ours, she did take them back! So we said fine, whatever, if it makes you happy, and she had to go back and get them.

It's onyl one, day, to be honest I'm nt going to cause arguments over a bunch of potted hyacinths. The ceremonys the important thing, and if the rest isn;t exactly what was in our heads it's not a huge deal if it makes her happy. e're having a renewal in Florida in 2010 anyway, and will have the wedding we wanted in the first place!

hey Obi, it's good to see you back. We are still no closer to moving to the states either, despite buying a house over there and promptly renting it to friends (who are now nagging to buy it from us :) ) so, in your absence all I have done is become a property broker :rotfl: I've no idea when we'll make the move, work is keeping us here at the moment and I can't see that changing any time soon, unless Amy Macdonald breaks into the US in a big way.

We did go over for a trip in february and came home with a little extra baggage (baby girl due in november). I'm tempted to go and give birth on US soil, that way in 18 years if we still haven't got the visa sorted she can sponsor us :rotfl:

The loan thing totally sucks, it really does, but look on the bright side at least you have a good reason to keep your diary up to date, instead of hanging around like a lost soul (like I do). Sometimes I feel like getting a bit of debt so I can justify hanging around here :D

Oh, and I finally got married in September, lucky for me, the MIL couldn't get here from canada. That was a shame, I was ever so not gutted about that. Thats what happens when you organise a wedding in 4 weeks flat.
