lol, cheers Mrs Tine. Although now I'm debt free I feel a bit of a cheat. I just hope I ca help someone else. If you lot get a laugh from the weird things that happen to me, then fair enough.

You've yet to hear about the Commodity code Blues, and the absolutely MENTAL things HM Revenue & Customs expect us to do in order to get a packet of polos to America.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Oooh, Snags - stinky pot!!! The time when a knitting needle comes in handy - bet you'll find alsorts in there - fluffy mint, half a biscuit, cuddly toy....

At least you know where she is - 'shuffle shuffle CLONK shuffle shuffle CRONK'. I'm planning on getting mine tagged, especially as DD has discoveered that hiding in impossibly small spaces is a brilliant thing, and even better watching Mummy go bonkers thinking the Bad People have taken me...

Oooh, you're so sharp you'll cut yourself......

lol, yup, and chocolate as we know and love it is not just chocolate to these people. No. It's a '30% cocoa and milk solid bar'. I have different codes for different types of chocolate. I have yet to find the code I need to says 'Bog off and leave my Curly Wurlys alone, you nosey !!!!!!s. If you lot had decent chocolate in the first place I wouldn't have to send it to poor, Cadbury starved expats'.

Lol, yes, her crawling is quite amusing! Honestly though, she is the most accident prone child I have ever met. Just a few minutes ago I popped to the kitchen to get her milk and she banged her face on a toy and cut her gum (cue Ryan screaming 'her face is pouring with blood' and me panicking like mad :o). She was fine though, just a little nick.

It's so scary when they hide isn't it? Ryan used to crawl into all sorts of places - behind the sofa, under the bed, in a cupboard.....

I'm really trying not to think about what will be under the pot! :rotfl:

Oh you're not a cheat! Don't be daft! And you do manage to give me a much needed laugh with the way you narrate your life story :) You can seemingly take a total disaster and turn it into something to smile about - a skill we all sorely need sometimes :)

And I dread to think about the Commodity code Blues!!!

You pick away. I'm not saying you'll get much...most of my brain has been turned to mush through long periods of hold music (courtesy of HMRC), but I'll help out if I can.

In the meantime, check out Expat's Voice (Google it, I don;t want to get slapped fro posting an outside link). It a forum for people who want to emigrate anywhere, though focuses mainly on Florida, and are trying to get some of the terribly unjust laws regarding certain visas changed. Most of them have been there, done that and got the huge wad of paperwork. Anyone considering the Staes must bookmark it.

Anyone watching Eurovision tonight? I'm having my best mate round for a bottle of vino and a vicious, !!!!!y evning of ripping the fools who enter apart. Hair, costume singing ability or if they're too pretty and thin - nothing is sacred!! Gutted Dustin the Turkey (Ireland) didn;t make it through. I thought it was hilarious! So cue one, big, lovely, stilton sized cheese-fest.
