    Well chicks, guess what?

Today I got a lovely little letter from our favourite schoolyard bullies - Rossendales. Big fat final notice...aparently I owe them £350 for the council - over a year after I moved from that particular council! Funny, first I've heard! I swear these people keep a list of people who pay up and hit them up for a bit of cash every now and again, thinkign they'll pay up without checking.

Naturally I shot off an email (not daft enough to do it over the phone - they have a habit of 'not having a record' of important calls), saying I wanted proof of this debt, original documents etc. Naturally all I got was a carppy response - we've sent out a letter, you need to make a payment to ensure no furth er action blah blah blah -. So they've had another email telling them that a) a letter doesn't prove a debt that I've never heard of b) I have no intention of making a payment until these documents are received, and as the debt is with them, not the council (who it's apparently on behalf of) they can provide this proof, as the council just tell you that it's no longer in their hands) and c) any further emails I send asking for this proof and other docments will cost them £25 each. Plus if it turns out to be like the last little matter, I proved that it had been paid off in full after getting a solicitor involved. They really are creeps, and I hope they all wake up in the middle of the night with the heeby jeebies over the poor practices they carry out. Besides, I'm pretty my MP has been very vocal on Rossendales as his daughter had a run in over them over a parking ticket or something, and he's very upset about them and they way they act. Think I feel a nasty letter coming on [crack knuckles]. They've messed with me for the last time, and god above help them if they send the Tangerine Neckless Wonder again.....

Got the hayfever again, streaming and being very unhappy hunched over my keyboard - attempting to get some work done, and the second THE SECOND I switched on the program to build my site, DS popps his eyes open and decides nap time's over. Sigh. At this rate I'll still be re-building next year..

So I must crack on. I hope you're all having a cheap day - been trying to post for 3 days but the darm board won't take it. So don't forget to save those pennies, put them in your pigs. Why not overpay a debt by a quid this week? You won't miss it, and it'll make you feel a bit better.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Good luck with all of that.
I thought Rossendales would be offering you a job (not that you would take it) Just the fact that you are thoroughly fearless in your dealings with them.
I am cackling at the thought of your next letter to them and the threat of the MP.
    Good luck BOB X

I missed your little hints & tips that you used to throw in at the end of a post...:)

Maybe the little one should be learning to type so he can help mum?

Hi floss, how's it going lady?

Rossendales, you will kneel before my wrath, tremble at the sound of my letters hitting your mat. You will scuttle off and hide at the phone ringing and by the end of this, you'll pack up your little letters, your steroid-popping, intellectually-substandard [STRIKE]trained apes[/STRIKE] employees and your horrible, tatty little black folders (where do they get theose things? Is there a bailiff superstore somewhere that sells pills, fake tan and nasty black headmaster-type folders for the holding of the misery-paper?). I shall crush you. I shall grind you under my fluffy slipper. I shall stick my tongue out at your shoddy practices and wiggle my !!! at your lack of paperwork with a vengance.

    You'll be GOIN' DOWN!!!! Wrooooghhhh!!!!

[oops slipping into Maury Povich guest mode there for a minute, but you get the gist]

So join my crusade. Rossendales can suck my butt, and we should all make them PROVE the debts that they cause such misery over. There's a wrong way to collect, there's a right way and then there's Rossendales.

As for the Ash-man learning to type, he might actually make more sense than me after a full day and a couple of glasses of vino. Besides, I'm pretty sure there's a law against making babies build websites.

Glad you all like my little hints - just some ideas I come up with to help. :D It's either that or find more Swahili insults.
