Awww congratulations Obi!! And welcome little Ash. :T

I'm so pleased to hear you are debt free, that must have been such a weight off your mind. Hope you have now found somewhere to live that doesn't involve any landlords from hell or anything!

Please don't go just because you are debt free though, we've missed you hun!

:T :T Congratulations re the debt free status and the birth of your son. Glad some things are moving steadily along for you.

Sorry to hear about your house falling through, sounds like just before christmas must have been a nightmare for you all.

However maybe it was to set you free eh, so that you can pursue your dreams to America. It doesn't seem that long ago that you were posting about the urine smelling elderlies that frequented your wool shop and the picture you kept of your dream home in the USA. Sounds like you have a definate plan to make your dream a reality and I wish you luck.

    Hey triker,

I'm good love, not updating on here, as I seem to atrract weirdos (present company excepted, natch ;) )

Operation wedding is proceeding as planned - i.e. MIL is doing it all. She's sorted out DD's outfit, my bouquet, caterers, nagged up to hire the hall early so we can organise a meal for family there as well as the night party, and now has changed her mind, contacted a place near us and got them to organise a sitdown ther (but then said 'It's up to you, of course'!). I ordered my dress a week or so ago, it should be here in a few weeks - being an MSE'er it's a knockoff of the deisigner dress - I'm not paying £800 for a dress for one day. So £180 delivered will be fine, thankyou very much lol

Babies are both fine, Alyx has had the chicken pox, but thanks to the magic that is Lush calamine tea tree soap is ready to go back after a week. Poor little thing. Ash is beautiful, starting to roll over on his front, but hasn't worked out how to move forward yet. He's got big blue eyes and a darling little smile.

So all in all, all systems go. Furiously trying to rebuild Little Taste of Home site as FIL nicked our computer containing all the files, and have had to spend £300 getting the software again Grrrrr. But all's peachy love.

#How's you and all my mates?
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Thanks love, things just a bit hectic, plus I'm still unsure why my life is so interesting!

Hey Snaggles, Mini Snag is looking great!

Yeah, wedding's going great. Obviously, all done MSE'er way lol. Dress (Mori Lee style 2106 if anyone is remotely interested) did cost £800. Being a good Martin devotee, I did what any sensible girl should do, and got it off Ebay. (after looking at the bridal shop woman like she was asking me to lop off an arm when she broke how much it was). £180 delivered, from a seamstress in the UK. MIL is sorting out a caterer as a gift, venue was extra cheap because it's a little known hall run by a Church - little known despite taking up nearly a full block, and having concerts on nearly every night - guess we're just uncultured slobs) and flowers are all silk and being borrows - so it's not being cheap, it's just going overboards on the 'something old' and 'something borrowed'. Guess I can put OH in that category too - I've had him quite a while, and I'm borrowing him off his mum...

Everything's going peachy, my chicks. FIL decided to nick our computer, and seeing as it had the only (yes I know, I can feel you all yelling 'Backup woman, backup!') copy of our website in xistence, was a bit special. So muggins here has had to spend a looooong time rebuilding it. You wouldn't believe how many types of tea there are. There's lots. They should now stop inventing teas. Still, keeps me busy......

Kids are hunky, chickenpox strikes the household, but she's been a trooper, and not hardly picked at her spots at all. In fact, her dad was bathing her the other night, and she very sorrowfully said 'Daddy, I'm all spotty, aren't I?'. To which her father said, yes dear, but they'll go soon, and you wont be spotty any more. Daddy was spotty when he was little, but I'm okay now, aren't I?. DD looks at him thoughtfully and says 'But Daddy, you're still spotty. You have them on your arms, legs, tummy, face......' I caught him using one of my facial scub pads later that night.

So apart from that, all's peachy in Obi world. Hows things with everyone else? I see numbers are dropping like an Essex girl's pants, well done everyone!

Obi I'm glad to see you returning to this thread... I've had many a laugh reading it back in the day and going through the ups and downs of your business and personal life. I was also happy to see you on the wedding board but this thread holds a dear place in my heart :)

Oh my goodness, that dress is beautiful! *insert jealous smiley*

Sorry about your computer 'issues', that sounds like a nightmare. Lol at the teas though. :rotfl:

Yes, Natasha is doing great thanks - well, except for the broken leg. :o She's having the pot taken off next week though, thank goodness. Poor little lamb desperately needs a proper bath!!

She had just started walking as well, although it hasn't slowed her down much.

Hope you all recover from the chicken pox episode quickly. x
