Hi Obi - just wanted to say good luck for the move and thanks sooo much for the links to the lovely sock patterns - hopefully when you're back on line, I should have some pics ready to show you!

Take care and look after yourself

I'm sure it will all go swimmingly - 90% of the house is in boxes, and one of the local charities is coming in tomorrow arvo to collect the astounding amount of stuff we haven't got time (or the inclination!) to sell on Ebay.

I'm expecting HUGE amounts of socks, Nat - I find it very addictive. I've finished a huge pair of the Child With Enormous Feet's socks, got a pair of OH's to sort out (toes coming unravelled - was before I mastered Kitchener stitch at the end for that invisible seam) and my fave pair of cashmere ones seem to have gone walkies - So I'm going to settle down tonight with a ball of 'reclaimed' wool (how about that for moneysaving!) and knit myself a pair. Might even try a pattern! Not to mention try not to think of the choas that will descend on us tomorrow....

Oh, and on a happy note - OH got made permanant full time at Games Workshop!! I was looking forward to having him home more, but he's really happy - I thnk it makes him feel like he's really bringing home the bacon. So I now get to spend many a happy hour rejigging my budget spreadsheet.

Thanks for the kind thoughts guys - really means a lot to me that there's people out there rooting for us. You all rock.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I think it's pretty appalling that you have used Obi's full 'real life' name and have reported your post to abuse.

I second this motion. I also fail to understand why you have bumped this thread to *not have a go*

What ever you're problem is with Obi I suggest you maybe scream into a pillow or something ~ we dont tolerate bad mouthing or bullying in here.

Saying *its not that I dont like her* doesnt negate the tripe you then spout about her!!
