Yes. You must clean your oven. It'll make it more efficient, as it's not having to heat up leayers of krud and burnt cheese, and will not produce that distressing smoke machine effect whenever you whack it on.
Well, my friend seems to be holding up well, she's a trooper. Thanks for all the good thoughts. The police have grilled the living carp out of her, but she went home, rearranged her furniture and has decided not to allow it to rule her life. Se recently got a high 2:1 degree after 7 years of hard work, and after an interview for a job with CAB they were so impressed they want to create a job just for her. So things were going great, and she's said she's not going to allow this to ruin all that. She rocks.
Well my chicks yesterday I logged onto the online banking like a good DFW, and found WTC had put an exra payment in - bizarre as they want £5k back, but since when does a Govt body have to abide by the law of common sense or indeed maths? So called them to query, aparrently it's because I confirmed last years earnings etc, so the 'system' automatically throws up an extra payment then has reduced the payments for the year to compensate.....what do you think it was cost t have Stephen Hawkings to check out the whole thing? Saying that, not sure I'd want to be responsible for the smartest guy on the planet's brain trickling out his ears...
So that was unexpected but nice. Going to use it to pay for the kids nursery photos and then tuck it away as a bit of an emergency fund. Set up all the debts on standing order now, so that's all sorted - the council got hold of Satan's B*tches (Rossendales) and told them to accept my offer, and they gave me the bank details so no more paying £1.25 a pop to pay them. Everythign seems to be ticking along nicely - it's suspicious!
So today's tip is to have a bag next to the washing machine/tumbly. As you find stuff that's too small, scruffy or just not tickling your fancy any more, put it in the bag. When the bag's full, either take it to the charity shop, ebay it or take it to a cloth recyling point. Saves having to rake through your wardrobe, though you could do that as well - we only wear 20% of our clothes 80% of the time. If there's any tops, trousers whatever that you simply don't wear, get rid. Don't give drawer space to stuff you don't wear. After all it doesn't pay rent! This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Well done,
Keep up your good work0 -
Good morning all my lovely friends and other people,
Sundays are a bit weird, don't you think? It's like it's not a real day, for some reason I never get much done and the kids always seem a bit more grumpy and twitchy. But today I want to change this a bit, so am going to attempt to be a bit more motivated. Got tons of stuff that needs ebaying, and the kids are actually being quite good at the moment.
A friend mentioned getting the CSA involved in order to track down the ex, but I'm pretty certain I wouldn't be given his address - what's the feeling on this? Is it worth it?
But on a very good note, I've have some photos back from the wedding, so here's the link if you fancy wasting a few minutes:

So only a short one today my loves, don't want to waste a fairly upbeat day - last night a quick '2 minutes' turned into 4 hours...
Todays tip - Write a few things down that you've been meaning to do for ages - fix that drawer, claim your charges back, sew that button on etc and put them into a jar. Once a week pick one out and do it. No excuses, no messing, just get it done. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I love that! Don't really have space for the bag in the kitchen, but I'll remember it! Thanks2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Awww Obi wedding pics... *sigh* I love your flowers! Wish I'd stood my ground on mine but mum put so much effort into them I felt bad saying they weren't what I wanted
The little table decorations aren't too bad actually - but they are takign up roomIgnore your MIL and get them on flea bay!
Felt dead poorly this morning (3am) after consuming loads of wine last night so today seems to be a bit of a waste so far... need to go defrost some port tenderloin for dinner and do beans on toast for lunch... OH is getting next doors to help him put up new lights in hallway so hopefully that will keep him out from under my feet today
Have loads to list on fleabay still just loose motivation after a very short time!
Also need to do the "bag" thing for clothes that aren't worn... must do!!!
Made blackberry and apple crumble last night - forgot how darned easy it is and how delish with vanilla icecream!
Want to try to make the 5 minute a day artisan bread - debating on whether to buy the book as library don't have it grrrDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
Hmmm pants day - got a HUGE mobile phone bill - have challenged the charges but not holding much hope so decided to really hit the fleabay and was hoping a few bits might be worth money... even £30 would be nice so listed about 10 things.
Ironically nearly had argument with husband over old sky box that I wanted to list and he wanted to chuck... I won and it escaped the bin (narrowly) - well imagine my gloating when after listing it I discovered it's a very rare one and people pay over £50 for them!!!! HAHAHAHA!
Shame it'll all go on a flipping mobile phone bill really *sigh*DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Grrrrr, I hate mobile phone bills - I did something with my new phone and somehow ended up connected to the internet for an hour, costing me a tenner for the priviledge!
Well done on the Sky box though - hope you get a good price for it.
Gorgeous wedding pics Obi - it looks like it ended up being a nice day after all the stress."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
