Another tip for today - hug those close to you and tell them you love them.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Obi - Talking of fleabay... is there much chance if any of the ex having listed anything on there? You would know the sort of things he would list or buy.... and maybe be able to have a guess at his username.. I know someone who found an ex who collected Clarice Cliff statues by searching ebay when nothing else had worked.. complete long shot but you never know...
also friendsreunited and the social networking sites0 -
Gina - that is an inspired idea, and one I shall be taking up - he was always keen on these 80's toys called Action Force - I still have a loft full to sell on Fleabay - so here's a great big hug and a thankyou for that. Well done lady!
So come on guys - any more ideas on how to track down someone who hasn't registered to vote, hasn't got a conveniently listed number in the phone book, and whose own family have no idea where he is.This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Sorry Obi another lurker here. Can you list the Action Force stuff on fleabay and hopefully it will be him that bids. He probably doesn't know your new name/address so wouldn't have a clue it was you.
Could always try his full name on Google and see if it comes up with anything.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0 -
I did have one thought, if he is bankrupt he will be on the bankruptsy register and they publish addresses don't they? Not a very pleasant thing for folk to go through i know, but it could be one way to track him down.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Morning Obi - terrible that he's just left you with the burden of this and knowing you you will feel awful for whats happening with your OH now but...it's not your fault - hes the one who shirked his responsibilites and left you high and dry and at least your rid of him. I do hope you manage to track the scum bag down but knowing the type of person he sounds he doesnt care about being debt free like the rest of us - hes coasting through life taking what he wants without a second though - your well rid...we have all had our LBM - people like him never have one of these coz u have to have a concience in the first place - hugs to you and yours hun xxxxFocusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0

Morning guys,
Thanks for the ideas - all areas for me to chase up. It's really great that you guys want to help me out this way - the offers of help have been really great. There's nowhere you can hide, you horrible little man.
Not going to be writing much - my best friend was attacked in her own home by a guy she knows last night and so we were at the police station til 4 am. Naturally kids chose today as their 'Sleep's for Wimps' day, so since 4am I've had approx an hour and a half broken sleep in between feeds and DD deciding that her LeapPad needed to be on top volume at 7am.
But that's nothing to what my friend has been through, so please guys, lets have some happy thoughts her way. Seems everyone's in the wars at the moment, to put it lightly. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

What about find my past or any of the geniology sites? Tracesmart may also have records but you have to pay credits I think alhough you do usually get a free trial I think...What about via DWP - esp if he owes them money too (not sure if I'm right there) as they can info via socia security although unlikely to give it out...will have a think fo a cunning plan but lacking as its Friday night & its my brain we're talking about!
