He is probably vain enough to be posting to all and sundry on the internet. I wonder if the friend who got in touch with you about his debt would know someone who is contact..put out a wanted poster on facebook and someone will know him!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
The guy who has crawled out the woodwork hasn't seen him since he went back to crewe - he wanted this friend to set him back up with his ex girlfriend (and this was before he even left Scunny city limits). So no, no-one seems to know, last address at YMCA say they cant give out an address, you need to write and they will forward it on if they have an address, but won't say if thy do.
GrrThis year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

How about dimwits parents? Does he stay in touch with them? Can he maybe be tracked through them?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Considering when his gran died his sister asked me if I'd seen him, I dn't think he's still in contact with them - they didn't take it lihtly that he lied to them about our breakup and Pauline the Whoring Footpig (Thanks Dots!)
So bit stumped as to how to track down someone with no mates, no life and no job.....Still, I'm sure I'll manage it. There must be a way. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

You don't need any of that new fangled kitchen equipment. You can survive for years on cold baked bean butties.

Hi Oberon
I've just found your thread, and I've read the first three pages and the last three, and would the rest if only it weren't well past my bedtime. You have such a brilliant outlook and I can't wait to catch up on the two years in between.

Hey guys, send the hugs Weller's way - she needs them right now.
As for me, I'm having a whale of a time copared to poor Wells - phoned council this morning in tears to try and get it sorted - apparently they HAVE spoken to me about this, came at the time when we were battling the Landlord from Hell, so must have gotten put to one side and forgotten about, my bad. The lady was pretty helpful, called Rossendales and told them to accept my offer. Shame they didn;t so that 2 weeks ago, could have saved myself £200 grrrrr. Still, I can look at getting the sky high fees redued now it's all getting paid at least. Herbie - can you point in the right direction for what they're allowed to charge? And the kicker? According to the council the bailiff was going to be coming back today - he told me he would call back Friday to see what I'd sorted out...sneaky barstool....bet that would have cost me another £200.
Have DD with me today, she puked at nursery, so it's automatic 2 days off to stop bugs going round. Sigh.....trying to keep her amused when she doesn't want to be home is...fun...but on the upside I got my Moveme.com pack today, so free stuff. We like free stuff, especially random free stuff. Bounty, some posh loo roll (we usually get the cheap as chips smart price, so will be a bottom treat) some UHT milk and a sample of something that will fizz and remove all the greasy from my worktops, plus more energy saving bulbs that don't fit anyof my appliances......
So today will be spent amusing the child, finding more stuff to feed the ebay machine (Mr O actually noticed I was getting rid of some books, so must be more careful....) and making lemon curd in the slow cooker - have an over abundance of eggs, so trying out a recipe to fill Xmas hampers.
Todays Tip - go through your cupboards and dig out all the odds and ends, then find a way of using them up. I myself have half a pack of dried beans (h/m baked beans), a bottle of rosewater (turkish delight?) and a random assortment of lentils, quinoa and ...um..not sure what that is, I'll stick it in the beef casserole on Monday and see what the family think. Then make a mental note not to by any more random food items. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
