I've recently listed books on amazon and was lucky enough to sell one which was posted 29-06-06 I have not received any feedback from the buyer. How long does it usually take to receive feedback? I'm slightly concerned as when I am the buyer I always leave feedback immediately. Surely if there was a problem the buyer would have contacted me by now.

Bagpuss - amazon usually send a reminder to buyers about leaving feedback about 1 month after they purchased the item so it may take a while if they don't remember to do it of their own volition. You will also find that feedback is slow in coming. I have sold over 150 items and have only had 27 feedback comments so don't expect all your customers to leave you feedback.

Amazon now automatically relist on your behalf, but worth keeping your eye on pendings just in case it doesn't get relisted.

I haven't got a pending email handy but I think that it says that the item will be automatically relisted - although it never used to happen - so this is only a recent change.

I have a pending email from last week (the Jesus book), and it told me to relist the item when the 72 hours was up (which I have forgotten to do! but just checked and they have done it for me.) However, on the Seller Announcements board, I did notice this the other night http://forums.prospero.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=am-uksellannoun&msg=192.1&ctx=0

  • Well I've enabled my holiday settings and am feeling a bit sad, keep wondering if I will miss any wonderful sales while I'm away! On the plus side, I sold a CD this evening, been a day or so without sales for me.

I'm only away for a few days, so will hopefully be switched on again soon and get some more sales. I'm also planning to try and organise my books a bit better when I'm back and waiting for my listings to kick in again.

Now I just have to decide whether to use my Dad's pc to lurk on here or whether it will just make me jealous....
