MrsTine - I like with your wise words and the sense within your posts. Your thoughts on abortion at the young age of 20 were incredibly mature. Views I share and a decision I would make myself, although I accept not everyone else would or could.
I agree whole heartedly with your summation of factsWas the pregnancy your fault? No. Was it his fault? No. Did he get a say in wanting a child? No. Did you? Yes.
As for my views on the issue of pursuing someone for Child Support.
If he was simply a sperm donor then no, if you both wanted and planned a future togther to raise a child but he bailed, then yes (and the same goes if the mother bailed).
I don't think CS should be pursued if your view is simply "because I can". The same that I don't agree with an NRP moving to Thailand to avoid Child Support, "because they can".0 -

It makes no difference now, Thailand is among a growing number of former REMO countries who have reclassified UK CSA a British tax.
This is because the UK government admitted (probably unintentionally) it selectively deprives working parents of tax credits depending on whether they live with the child.
Some REMO countries are discovering the CSA is raising liabilities on a % of a working persons income irrespective of the needs of the child and this is viewed as alimony under their own local laws.0 -
