Each to their own, if that makes you happy then you go for it!! Just hope in your little pleasures before you die that your not having to tell some poor bloke that he has a child that he never knew about!!
If you practice what you preach then you or any bloke you indulge with will have no worries and good on you for taking responsibility for your attitude to a shag!!:D:D Enjoy0 -

It was a lighthearted comment - honest!!! I have been put on daily morphine as from today and it has made me a little giggly...with my dislocated kneecap it takes me all my time to get out of bed let alone bounce around in it!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

"Thank god" for morphine, at least some poor bloke has had a lucky escape, especially the quest your on before your number is up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Mind you the worrying thing is your not going to be on morphine forever :eek:0 -

(jesus, I hope everyone is taking this in the manner it is intended!!):D0 -
Men should know. Either from school sex ed, reading themselves, chatting with friends or most importantly in my opinion ... taught by their parents. That is something I shall be drumming into our children.
Shell,
There are young men now who are going into adulthood who would have no idea of the consequences of having an intimate fling (so to speak) obviously they know that's how babies are made!! Am not just talking about having a baby am talking about their role as a father and what does that really mean in today s society??? If they are genuine fathers who support their child/ren financially and emotionally but have an ex who wants to destroy that, then in the eyes and the law of this country they just don't stand a chance, unless they put their hand in their pocket each and every time the ex wants to make contact difficult and seek advice from a solicitor. As one poster has said some men do get a raw deal!!0 -

If the man has reached adulthood and is still ignorant that no contraception is 100% that is not a valid reason why he shouldn't pay child support. I doubt I would get much sympathy if I came on here and said I didn't realise my coil wasn't 100% effective. We both agreed on the risk beforehand.
did I say it was???
The debate moved into if morally the bloke should be paying child support in certain circumstances.
I'm having a coil fitted so I know all the leaflets you get when you even contemplate it and it states very clearly the chances of failure etc. How many blokes read those?
How many blokes are ever given those?
My husband is a reasonably intelligent chap and even he looked mildly confussled in the face of all the literature I was trying to munch my way through... I'm sure at some point in sex ed it might have been brought up but frankly at 29 I can't soddin remember
as I went to a mixed school then I suspect most of it was accompanied by lots of giggling and wolfwhistles at the time... And if anyone took the information in I'd be amazed!
Was the pregnancy your fault? No. Was it his fault? No. Did he get a say in wanting a child? No. Did you? Yes.
Now wether or not you think that's an excuse or not doesn't come into it - the law states you have a right to pursue him for CS (that I fear you have next to no chance when dealing with the Sicilian government is a seperate matter...) and that's all that matters.
Actually all that REALLY matters is that you love your daughter... in this case her "father" is nothing but a sperm donor and if it were me I'd not pursue him because I wouldn't want to risk him one day wanting access... but I'm not you at the end of the day
