Sorry this is my first post so apologies if I do it wrong!
For that sea world pass from the post above, don't you have to be a Florida resident to get it? When I clicked through it said for Florida residents.
Thanks!
Yes the fun card is for Florida residents only.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)

Hey all,
The current UK offer for a Disney ticket gives you 14 days formt he price of 7, at a cost of £210.
However, we are in Florida for 14 days this year, and I already have tickets for Universal and the Discovery Cove parks. I doubt I will do more than 1 day in the 4 major Disney parks with (if we are really lucky) a couple of the smaller Disney theme or water parks.
With this in mind I looked at the US tickets, specifically the "Magic Your Way Water Park Fun & More" I figure we could get 7 day ticket, that gives us 7 days in the major parks plus 7 days in the smaller parks - with a 14 day expiry from first use. This cost $291 = £191. The 5 day ticket is actually $283 = £185
This seems like quite a good saving to me, but am I missing anything?0 -
There was no mention of DisneyQuest, located at Downtown Disney, which is a kind of giant Arcade. Once you are in, all the games and "rides" are free. I don't think it's included in the Base/Magic Your Way tickets, but it is included in the Ultimate tickets.
Also you can get "Kids Eat Free" cards for ahout £10 each, which let under 12s (I think) eat free at many restaurants around the area.
And at Seaworld/Busch Gardens there is a "Funcard", which is basically a pay-once-come-back-all-year ticket - i.e. an Annual Pass for the price of a single day, although it runs from 1st Jan to 31st Dec, no matter when you buy it. It can be reached here: http://www.seaworld.com/sitepage.aspx?PageID=231

Have been looking at this ticket the 5 Park Orlando combo ticket.
americanattractions.co.uk/Orlando-combo-tickets
Giving 14 days unlimited access to Aquatica, Universal Studios, Universal Island of adventure, Sea World & Busch Gardens Tampa. For £153 per adult ticket, with a further (WIth a further £5 online booking discount off total price of 3 tickets) So £151.33 per ticket.
Was comparing it with the orlando Flexiticket Plus. I know the flexi ticket plus includes all of the above with the addition of wet n wild. Anyone any thoughts?
Thanks0 -
This doesn't directly answer you question but might give you further food for though. I spent a long time looking for these tickets although my main concern was to go an see Discovery Cove, which although part of the Aquatica, Sea World and Busch Gardens family, is not included in the these tickets. If you fancy Discovery Cove, it might be cheaper to get the additional Sea World, Aquatica and Busch Garden tickets with the those, then just get the Universal Studios separate.0

Has anyone bought tickets from TravelRepublic.co.uk? I have decided that we want the 3-park Universal tickets and TR has the best price but I want to be sure they are reputable.

I just bought those exact tickets from them 2 weeks ago! They arrived recorded delivery 3 days later and look perfectly legitimate (I compared them with the ticket stubs we had from the last time we went and they look identical). The company we booked through recommended them as the cheapest for this ticket because they couldn't match it themselves. So fingers crossed they're fine! (we actually paid less for them, they've gone up 3 quid since then!)0 -
Pay for a day - come back all year tickets are for Florida Residents and you have to prove residency when you buy.
Not so for Seaworld FH. We decide to go on the spur of the moment last year (I'm not keen on Seaworld, but got outvoted). Anyway, paid at a machine by the gate and chose the 'Pay Once Come Back All Year' option which was the same price as a single day. Bit of a faff - had to input everyone's DOB, address etc, but no problem having a UK address.
What we hadn't realised was 'come back all year' meant come back for THE REST OF 2009 and NOT 12 months. We had no intention of returning in 2009, so wouldn't have bothered had we known.
If you get one early in your stay and want to keep going back - good deal.
Don't know if there's a way to get the Funcard out there though.0 -

I'm seriously considering the 5 park combo as we've never done Busch Gardens before. We did Wet n Wild last time and whilst it was fun it doesn't look as good as Aquatica.
Having looked at the Aquatica website I'm wondering about seating. Can anyone who's been advise how easy it is to base yourself somewhere in the park without the added expense of a sun lounger or cabana.0 -
