  • You can buy these on the gate
    Details here:

If you go to Disney definitely get you’re tickets before you go - their Fastpass system is free and you can book 3 30 days in advance, if you buy on the day then you’ll have far more limited options.

This isn’t an issue at the non Disney Parks, however why waste time standing in line to buy a ticket when you can easily buy beforehand, which at most will be the same price as the gate.

  • There is one reason it might be better to buy it at the gate.

Having been to Disney a number of times, there is no 'definitely' rule... it's 'horses for courses'
We've saved hundred of dollars by buying on the gate (and have never had to queue to do so) - if you know that you only want a certain number of days, don't want to park hop and don't want access to the water parks, it can work out cheaper and if you're going 'off peak' fastpass is not a massive issue.
And, like anything else, if the exchange rate moves in your favour you can save even more $$$

Sometimes buying here works out cheaper (we've done that sometimes too) but it's not a given, and always worth researching the options to suit your particular needs :)

Kougis is asking about 1 or 2 day tickets. The 7 day pass bought it the UK appears to currently be a little under £400. A 2 day base ticket bought on the gate is about $222 (inc tax) - less than half that.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

  • What about the weather?
September is a rainy season isn’t it?
  • Virgin Holiday point blank refuse to send tickets out before 30 days unless you have booked Disney accomodation with them. This means you can't use them for advanced (60 day) fastpasses that you can get if you book accomodation elsewhere.

They also don't make this clear, and demand a £35/person administration fee to change it.
