  • Who would you recommend to buy from and why?

  • We waited until we got there and got massive discounts at tourist information centers. Be aware though that they an't discount on one day disney tickets.

There was a brilliant place called the Beach Welcome center at the end of the 688 near the Indian Rocks beach. We were able to get Busch gardens tickets for £35 each starting from 12pm.

But if you're not thinking of driving out that far, there are a lot of tourist information centers and discount ticket places in Orlando (including one at the end of Poinciana Boulevard near Walmart)

I just got back and had a 14 day, seaworld 3 park ticket (seaworld aquatica and busch gardens) it cost £85.00 from orlando attraction tickets.co.uk and thh tickets include a free transfer to tampa for busch gardens. Picking up from near seawold so if you are d/t orlando and dont feel like the drive its well worth it.

    cheers

  • Ordered 5x adult and 1x child full monty tickets for 2weeks trip to Orlando at the end of August.

Faultless service, ordered online 23 Jul night, arrived special delivery 1 August 10am, and extra's included too(coupons, kids eat free card and discount card for restaurants/shops) plus the ticket combo we wanted it was the cheapest I could find and I spent ages researching the net and ringing around.

Would defiantly use again with confidence.

Roll on 17th -we cannot wait. :j:rotfl:

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

We booked our tickets for disney & universal through Cosmos when we booked our trip. We were due to go this Friday, 9 th of August but have to cancel due to my father in law's illness.

Cosmos say the tickets are not refundable or transferable, does anyone know any different, or have experience of this. Any help would be greatly received, our insurance does not cover them.
  • re #115 sashatee I also spent a LOT of time looking at loads of suppliers watching total prices edge down. I knew exactly what I wanted, and then wanted to find it the cheapest; 14 day disney all sites, universal both sites for at least 7 days, and a water park. Orlando Attractions were quite easily the best on offer. For 4 adults (don't forget 10 y.o. = adult) it cost £1590 in August 2014. That is still an enormously big bill however they were not only the cheapest but for that price they have included;
4 x 14 day Disney all park tickets
4x 14 day Universal two site + Wet n wild water park +City walk etc
    + FREE
4 x 30 min airboat ride and entry into Wild Florida Park (wildlife/alligatory park)
    + FREE
One Night standard room at Champions World Resort Kissimmee (We can't use it but its seems a genuine offer, even though I assume you would have to pay non discounted price for any other nights)
+ 2 discount cards (Eat and play, Play for less) and some discount coupons for smaller attractions
+ Kids eat Free card if you buy childrens tickets
On top of all that, you could use a credit card at the same price and delivery was free.
So.... too good to be true I worried. Email messages came quickly re assuring me things were on their way and then there was a gap of a week or more with no info or delivery. With a heavy heart I sent a polite email seeking reassurance. By the next day I received an efficient and polite reply. By the end of the week everything ( real tickets!) had arrived by special delivery and looking glossy and exciting.
To sum it all up ... they were the cheapest THEN they added an air boat ride and animal park for free THEN they put in other discounts THEN they sent it to me for free, pretty promptly and efficiently. If you find better you've done well and should be pleased with yourself. The only way I could have bettered it, I think, is if Topcashback or Quidco could have done it or I'd found a discount code. Those sites that offered a code or could go through Topcashback etc all worked out at much worse deals when you looked at the bottom line.
It seems the least I can do to I pass them on as a strong recommendation as I assume their margins are trimmed down but you wouldn't have guessed it from the service I've received.
Hope it saves you some of the time I spent researching it (including all the other MSE suggestions)
    See you there!
  • #117 I forgot to say - the package is called The Real Steal#2 and is for next Summer; 2014
  • I read the ticket article a lot and want to add some tips.

Travelerepublic.co.uk these guys don't do skim links or cash back they are quite often the cheapest. Except the deal MSE have with orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk right now that is a belter well done team.

A villa will beat any hotel in orlando in good value for money if you can rent a car, but a huge secret is that you can stay at deluxe disney accommodation for the same price as you would pay to stay at a disney value resort if you pay a disney accommodation timeshare owner, google:' DVC points rental ' there are huge risks to this as the accommodation is not guaranteed in anyway and you are basically giving an individual a huge wad of cash at best you have a verbal agreement that they will book it for you.

The price 14 unlimited ticket in the UK for universal is equivalent to a 2 day ticket if you paid for it at the gate just incase you think you might get a better deal buying in the US because you are not going to be using all 14 days -you won't.

The UK unlimited tickets include the park hooper option this is important as the new for summer 2014 HOGWARTS EXPRESS transports people between the two universal theme parks. £40-60 surplus to add park hopper to your ticket if you don't have that.

When you book your tickets for disney make sure you are getting actual tickets some tour operators provide vouchers you swap over for tickets when you get there. Problem with this is the cannot be link to your my disney experience account.

Last point set up 'my disney experience' account for you and family before you go to florida once you add your tickets you can start making fastpass+ selections up to 60 days in advance.

We used orlando attractions as you can buy usa tickets on there I bought 5 day base tickets as the 14 day ticket in the uk just wouldn't get used so for 100 pound cheaper I just bought the days we would be going to Disney parks and what we saved bought 2 day Busch gardens ticket direct so work out when and how many days you will be visiting the parks and buy what you need but this is a great site and they are so helpful but click on USA and rest of the world tickets also then give them a ring you can pay in pounds so no fees to pay and you get a good currency exchange rate when they convert will defenitly use again

Has anyone bought tickets for Disney/universal from park-tickets.com? They are very reasonable but I have tried to contact them and had no reply.
