and register to get 20% off food & drink at National railway stations across the country!

That is a fantastic card! It always gets to me how expensive food is when you have to buy from outlets at travel places, I do always try and take my own food but sometimes you get caught out! So cheers!!

The discounts varied the last few months, but at the moment it's any valid student ID (with an expiry date) and it does not cover hardware. Say no to Computers and Lappys getting 10% off, need to be a staff member for that one.
Hi I've got an NUS extra card and I'm looking to purchase a Printer from PCWorld, anyone know if this qualifies for the 10% discount. PC World are already the cheapest for this printer so it would be quite a result.

    Thx

The discount covers software, peripherals, and accessories, so a printer should come under that. I used the discount on a mouse and a laptop bag- though be warned not all staff at PC World actually know what an NUS Extra card is, but waving something that looks like a student's union ID usually gets the discount anyway.

I've saved quite a bit of money with the discount on Amazon over this year, particularly as they tend to be quite cheap generally, hope it appears again next year!

  • i know its a bit local but broadway cinema in nottingham does a student special on sundays _ tickets £three pound after two pm>>> much better than the crappy student discounts offered by the big chain cinemas

Picturehouse cinemas in London offer student discounts and so does the Rio cinema in hackney. Most small to mid scale theatres such as the arcola and the bush also offer student discounts. I also got a student disocunt at a milkshake shop in croydon yesterday. Will try and find out name as they are one of a chain.
