I now have 2 people watching 2 out of my 7 items on eBay!
Sure they're only watching the cheap 99p items.... :rotfl:
    But every little helps right?

It's my friends birthday this month, and I've budgeted £20 to put in her card and enough for her meal, night out etc.

My main problem is I wont have anywhere near enough to get anything to wear, so I think I'm going to have to be creative so I look nice!

On a major positive note, I've been preparing for Christmas shopping and I've discovered the genius of Wilkinson's online! They have 97p (and cheaper) xmas items so take a look!
I'm obviously looking for Christmas hamper items so this place looks perfeeccct!

Just going to look in £1 shops, wilkos, home bargains etc for gift boxes etc.

Anywho, off to do my daily scratchie, in one minute and counting......

    And woop yes! another 10p!
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And Tinkerbel! Aww sorry to hear that, I hope you have a much better day tomorrow, I'm sure you will!

Get blitzing dooyoo when you have a spare moment at college or uni, I'm always thinking of new things to write reviews about lol.

Also have you got a diary like this? It helps lots, and comments from other people help too, if you make one I'll subscribe!

  • hey zarzar - have you thought about swapping clothes with a friend? I've been doing this lately - managed to lend out two things I was completely sick of and get two lovely new dresses. Even though they aren't new, they still feel new to me!:)
  • Soo todays a new day!

I've purchased some Christmas wrapping articles today to get me started, I need to go into my local town some day this week, I'm thinking Thursday afternoon, to get bits for my hampers as well as maybe some boxes or something so I can start making the hampers.

    On £40 on dooyoo :j
    And £1 on bingo :rotfl:
eBay still got two watchers on two separate items, I'm hoping for more as the listing progresses, still got 3 more days to go with that.

It's so hard not to buy anything, today when in tesco getting wrapping paper and 97p de-icer for the car, I had to force myself to put down a £5 DVD, and I'm glad I did now :A

Hoping to write some more reviews soon, just thinking of what I can write it about, still need to post my ALG stuff, left it at the boyfriends house, so that won't get done until tomorrow now  but oh well.

So, just trying to think of weird and wonderful ways to create some more money for myself...

heya I actually made this massive post earlier but I fell out with mse and it wouldnt let me log on to post :( but hey the general gist was that I am tired and have done nothing good on the money making/saving front today apart from write 3 dooyoo reviews - youve totally inspired me lol!
I also have a new uni assignment which is going to be horrible but hey - I'll try and do half of it this weekend, allong with a whole load of other things but hey - its me and the boys anniversary next week so I think this weekend is going to be quite bad and spendy but hey!
I've found this dress I want to buy - its £24 though so I dont know if I should treat myself.. I'm going to look at it again with a friend and try it on to see if I actually like it on thurs.

For you clothes wise, maybe try raiding your wardrobe, I always find things I've forgotton about/can spruce up?
What kinda outfit are you after? I love being creative with clothes!
Anyway I'm tired now and just been at college till 9 but had a good week this week (been having a bit of a rubbish time) but yey!!

    so I'll check in tomorow?
oh also could you sign your bf up for the scratchcards and just do it for him? I do it for my bf it takes like 10 seconds longer to do 2 than to do 1 and it doubles earning power? although I give him £5 everytime 'he' gets to the cashout level lol!
  • Soo, tomorrow I will remember to post my ALG forms!
I've started planning what I'm putting in everyones hamper, and I'm getting quite excited about it! :j (Call me a geek if you will!).
Need to rifle through what bits I've already got, and Thursday afternoon I'm going into town to look for cheap goodies, I might do a mission, go with £10 and get as many Christmas gifts/cards as humanly possible to put in everyones hampers haha.
Need to do (what I've fondly named) 'the rounds' which means check all my MSE websites, which include: MSE(obviously), Dooyoo, eBay, bingo, quidco and online banking.
I'll report back later no doubt... :)

  • Hey guys, happy wednesday haha.

Anyway, today hasn't really been so good, started this morning when my stepmum tried to ring me when I was still in bed.

Got a text from my sister saying 'everyones fell out with us'.

Basically what happened- my sisters getting kicked out of college for failing, she's 16 y/o, everything is everyone elses fault, shes imature and she needs to grow up and face the real world.

My family are all acting like shes the daughter of satan because of this, and are all close to washing their hands of her, now I agree with their principles completely, but perhaps not the way they're going about it.
Yes my sister is spoilt, and yes she needs to learn, but having a go at her wont help her learn.

I tried to sort of get her on side, and had a chat with her on facebook (cos she'd put on her status she was a failure etc), anyway long story short, she ended up slagging loads of the family off, my stepmum saw it and wasn't pleased.

So spoke to my stepmum shes all disappointed in me and my sister (NB: I didn't directly slag anyone off, I was trying to agree to get sister to listen to me) and whatever, my Dad's disappointed, etc
The problem is, I honestly didn't mean to offend anyone! I was just trying to get through to my sister...
    Sighh...

I give up on family, I honestly do.

Anyway, moneywise, doing good, fast food ban day 4 out of 41, weigh in day is 5 days away and I'll update my sig with any pounds lost or gained.

Haven't spent anything yet, and I can't see me needing to.
Still got £40 in my account for 'disposable' but I think I'll be spending it on xmas presents tomorrow.
Or I might order some gift boxes off ebay if I can find any nice ones.

£10 on paypal, which I'm not withdrawing until I have sold more things (I'm praying someone buys my stuff!)
One bid and 3 watchers on eBay now.

£41 on dooyoo, although rapidly running out of reviews to write.

£1.20 on bingo :rotfl: I wish I could win, 50p or something instead of 10p every single time, but oh well it's free!

Got ALG form in my bag, got to college and my lesson is cancelled so I'm sat in the common room typing away, as I left my laptop at my boyfriends house...
College has a post box methinks, so I can pop my forms in the post on my way out.

Work tonight, I will be working very hard so I can boost my bonus in January (the more money I put through the till, the higher bonus I get).

Ooh and the boyf wont be losing his job, apparently, thats according to him anyways.

And he found his parents a really good present for Christmas.
He bought them a blu-ray DVD player, which had been reduced to £10!!!!!!!!!!

    Anyways, best be off, xxxx
